Yes that's what I mean although what engine was in the e30? My mate had that turbo bolted to his 1.6 civic fuck sake [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]2 points

I saw a bmw e30 on a YouTube vid and the fella had swapped his holset hx35 turbo out for a smaller garret as he said he got a fair bit of lag and then woof, tyre smoking boost. [emoji87]2 points

Well nothing much to report really still waiting on bits from the powder coaters... Got the oil feed adapter fitted which was an eBay special about £11 seems a solid thing Was also given for FREE a Holset HX35 Cummins Turbo. I know a lot of people are running these and posting some great figures! I test fitted it to the engine and it sits a whopping 13" from the head on the manifold. I have a funny feeling this thing is going to be to big???? I am trying to see if I am better just buying a new turbo or save myself a few hundred notes and have this one rebuilt!!!! Not sure!!!2 points

Don't get me wrong this one has cost me a few quid so far especially for the donor car at £1150 delivered. But I have made about £600 back on other bits. I don't like being without the car in summer so hopefully this engine will go in through winter and last until the next one is built. [emoji3][emoji3]. That will be a forged bottoms end.1 point

Think I might do that I was planning on running the one in the car and doing this up but it is a good idea to sort this out and spend the real money on the other that way I know I can enjoy the car.1 point

Hi i am thinking about buying a vf v3 supercharger stage 2 and was wondering does anyone know a place which supplies them in the UK? And is it worth charging a vr or better off going vrt? Thanks1 point

It would be a AN fitting, Usally called AN weld in fitting or bung. Something like this. http://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/171218256266 The 10 on the end is the size of braided hose. So you can get AN-4, AN-6, AN-8, AN-10, AN-12. The numbers are for different size braided hose.1 point

I bought some of my turbo bits from bar tek worked out cheaper than uk due to the pound being strong compared to the euro also don't have to pay any import duty as its within the eu, took a wee while to turn up but that was to do with them waiting on a few of the items coming from the U.S.1 point

It would be done sooner, however I'm out the county for a couple of weeks literally a day after GTI festival so it's just gotta wait! [emoji24]1 point

Depend's on the injectors too, the 630's are quite old and slow compared with modern ones, I would prefer not to use them myself. I am a bit bias though as I have spoken to 5-0 about this for a few customers wanting vrt one's then these appeared on the market! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/6-1000cc-Fuel-Injectors-FLOW-MATCHED-VW-Golf-VR6-AAA-USE-E85-OXY-GAS-/261115795180 They look like they've modded/customized them the same way as the ME7 Black Ops one's we use for the mk4's, the latency times would suggest that. However you lot keep going the "money" route and go for the old 630's as them co1 point

Nice work mate, 4mo turbo conversions are getting easier and cheaper by the day for people, real beasts when some decent boost goes through them, go and embarrass a few Porsche owners! With the engine/bores checked etc, it should be nice and reliable too at that boost and more. PM'd you1 point
