Thought I'd put this Group Buy together for you. Lot's of knock-off's about on the market but these are genuine items, direct from SPA Turbo themselves, can be big discount's if I buy ten at least from them or a sizeable order value, so see if any of you lot are interested on any VAG engines. List includes: 1.8/2.0 8V 1.8/2.0 16V 1.8 20V VR6 12V VR6 24V 1.9 TDI 2.5 20V 2.0 20V 2.5 TDI aircooled Here's how import taxes work; Price of unit, plus postage then VAT and import duty - usually 5-6% to add, then it's either pick up from Manchester or postage to you. So - £100 unit price, sa1 point

Went to Players show on Sunday as it's literally 10 minutes down the road from me, (well then an hour of traffic around the airfield as its was so ridiculously busy[emoji15]) . I went back to my Compomotive TH monos for it as I like the whole Motorsport(ish) look they give the car; As it was only down the road I thought I'd see how low I could get the car on the coilovers[emoji15], this was how low!;[emoji16] Then a few very kind people sent me some shots of the car from the day; Players is a great show by the way if you can make it one year with a amazing mix of cars highly recommended[emoj1 point

I was questioning the sincerity of the post given the ebay log manifold and 1000whp statement being the absolute pinnacle of tuning on these engines, your other car sounds like a beast, would love to see some vids. That's a good list of parts there but you're still not likely to hit 1000+whp with the EFR, you'd need a GTX42 or 45 for that although you can build the car less powerful and still be quicker than your other one given the area under the curve aspects. E85 most likely too so overspec your injectors. I'll tell you now though that if you are wanting to reach those power levels you1 point

Hi fella.. They will be on a golf (not a corrado fan).. i have plenty of sets of wheels and not enough cars.. So when they actually make it on may be a different story.. never even realised the old players MK3 was running them.. Yours do look very good with them on..1 point

Been busy this last week with the car, first I got the Eurospec 280mm rear discs that were on the black VR I broke machined as they were quite badly corroded after sitting on that car going nowhere for a couple of years, luckily the car had done hardly any miles with them fitted so they had loads of meat left on them, this was before fitted the black Golf; Discs after being machined by a local machine shop; Next to the standard size disc; Removing the caliper spacer bracket from the old axle, needed a bit of heat to get them off; Old discs and heat shields removed; Then all back together; Th1 point

Whilst taking apart the schrick mani today to check if it had a plastic flap as advised by Vince at Stealth (apparently they have a habit of falling apart when supercharged, mine is metal[emoji3]) I thought that I needed to do something with it and I'm not a big fan of polishing so I did this; All put back together with stainless Allen bolts, what do you think?1 point
