Certainly looks like you've bought a nice one there pal and have come to the right place. We're a friendly bunch of guys and gals so if help is needed pop a question out mate. Some more pics would be nice as well when you get a minute dude. Also take a look at our Premium members section when you get a minute. For £10 you get a whole year of membership, a nice shiney membership card and window sticker. Access to the premium members section and discount from lots of motor trade stores should you need any parts or discount insurance schemes should you need to insure your pride and joy. Well1 point

Thanks guys. It's a 93k miler with fsh and just had Bilstein B12 kit fitted and refurbed wheels. 4 owners and has just a few wee niggles. Passengers window not working and heater direction won't turn, 2 blisters, 1 on rear screen and 1 on the side sill. Mods wise I've got to learn about the car but I like standard with subtle mods. Usually make the car as mint as possible paintwork wise, mechanically and lastly interior. I had a mellow 50 page thread on my Sportline and smaller thread on my 32k mile 1980 concours series 1 mk1 Golf. So will steadily improve this car through the years as well as1 point

Went to Players show on Sunday as it's literally 10 minutes down the road from me, (well then an hour of traffic around the airfield as its was so ridiculously busy[emoji15]) . I went back to my Compomotive TH monos for it as I like the whole Motorsport(ish) look they give the car; As it was only down the road I thought I'd see how low I could get the car on the coilovers[emoji15], this was how low!;[emoji16] Then a few very kind people sent me some shots of the car from the day; Players is a great show by the way if you can make it one year with a amazing mix of cars highly recommended[emoj1 point

After deciding the route I wanted to take the mk3. At first was thinking a pick up, but really needed a estate for this. Then I looked at buying a flat bed from a different car to then fit on the mk3. But decidied that was to much work. I then came up with the idea of a van, as I really like the astra vans etc.. As this was a 5 door it gave me the small front door's that I needed just needed to decide how I wanted the rear panels to look. First I was thinking of welding up the rear windows and smoothing the whole back out but 1. That's a lot of filler that could crack and 2. would look silly1 point
