  2. Hi everyone, Some of you will know my mk2 awd vr6 turbo build I had going on..... Well after a change of heart, a rethink of what I actually wanted and whilst scouring the Internet for a new daily I ended up looking in the mk3 section on edition and found a couple mk3 vr's that tickled my fancy. For those who know me I have always been a mk3 guy after owning two other gti's so when I saw Scott's supercharged vr for sale I made the journey south to Hastings to buy it. After a 5 hour train journey and a good chat with Scott I bought the car and made the 5 hour journey home (m25 and m11 are a nig

  6. Bit disappointed as I haven't watched wheeler dealers for a while and was expecting to see more of the work done on it. Probably just shows Ed doing a bit then turn the camera off and let the team of technicians loose on it.

  10. I have them fitted to my car, 323mm discs with the Brembo calliper. It's a straight fit as long as you have the wee metal packer, I'll post a photo..... Im not a mechanic nor mechanically minded all I know is I payed a good few quid from buying, restoring to fitting these brakes. Defo worth it though as look super and stop the car very well. Hope this helps you

  11. I think its time to clear the air. There are a lot of misinformation flying around. Its really frustrating.. First of all the 3.2 crank is in the 2.8 block. The crank is not touching anywhere and turns freely without any modification Second the Woosner R32 84mm pistons fits fine. The piston pin is where it should . So the R32 block is NOT taller. Its the same block with different bore and bolt diameter. . In the next couple of days I will post pictures of the R32 heads to the 2.8 block.

  12. Yup I also noticed they took the abs pump to bba reman. It looks like the vr6's are starting to slowly climb in value too.

    New VR6 new hope!

If you get a twin nozzle kit I'd highly recommend doing the pre charger set up As the air is compressed it is getting hotter so having the water sprayed straight away the whole set up will run more efficiently/cooler
