  1. The only part I thought was slightly amusing was how much oil there was leaking out of it. When they brought it the oil was all up by the side of the head and rocker cover, down the back of the engine etc etc, as ed pointed out. The only thing they changed in the program to cure the oil leak was the oil cooler seals... As this had apparently sprayed oil around the engine bay?? I seriously suspect there was at least another leak higher up somewhere. Good to see a vr6 on the show none the less. Enjoyed.

    Better late than never!

Hi guys, Im Jake im from Swansea and Im 20. I know its a little late to be posting here but better late than never I suppose! I started out having a corsa as my 1st car and god alive I had about 40000 problems so moved onto a 2.0L Passat and while driving through an industrial estate near me, what sounded like thunder was a silver MK3 golf and as you've guessed it, It was a VR6 and ever since that point I fell in love and set out to get one myself, I ended up buying a shitty little dragon green VR6 with barely anything working and restored it over about a year to working order and now I'm ho

  4. After a few small set backs like relocating the maf, a few shows[emoji16][emoji106] and the arrival of this little one; Say hello to Lennie, I'll have I'm in a lowered little tykes car soon....in red of course! Anyway I managed to get a day booked off work and a mapping session booked at Stealth, the car runs the Ecu from the black Vf charged car so it was half way there! It drove ok but had a big flat spot around 3.5k, after speaking to Vince he assured me he could map it and get it running right. I was expecting 270-280bhp and nearly fell over half way through when Vince told me it'd be pro

  5. The 6mm spacers go between the actual hub and carrier. I packed mine out with 3 washers per bolt. You need longer bolts to gold the carriers as well (6mm longer than standard, just measure yours and get them off ebay) The spacers are needed for any mk4 based brake conversion onto a mk3 platform as far as I know. 323 cupra r discs and brembos fit perfectly behind TT comps. TT comps are et32 and 7 or 7.5j iirc.. I would show u pics of the spacers and where they go etc but my car is now a bare shell haha..

  8. I think its time to clear the air. There are a lot of misinformation flying around. Its really frustrating.. First of all the 3.2 crank is in the 2.8 block. The crank is not touching anywhere and turns freely without any modification Second the Woosner R32 84mm pistons fits fine. The piston pin is where it should . So the R32 block is NOT taller. Its the same block with different bore and bolt diameter. . In the next couple of days I will post pictures of the R32 heads to the 2.8 block.

  11. Hi Chaps. As Mike Brewer would say ''I've got a right dilemma'. There's a video of my car doing over 120, the police were involved, it was even on the radio. Should I put it up on line or keep it to myself, what do you think?
