  1. Not been much to report lately. Got my oil feed and drain lines sorted. Had all my engine bits back from the powder coaters so I can start putting everything back together! Had my Brembo calipers done at the same time. I got a quote to have them refurbished by a well known caliper company and they quoted £250 to do the calipers. Extra if they had to replace seals etc.... I bought a new seal & bolt kit for £59 delivered. Came with lines, bleed nipples, Caps, bolts, seals & dust boots. The powder coaters charged me £20 a side to blast and coat them. Decals where £10 for 4 Hi

  2. Gates open at 8am for the outdoor cars. So was thinking if we meet at the Tesco superstore for say 8am which is 6 miles from the venue. We can depart from there at 8:20am and head over to the show.. Does that sound fair enough? Tesco address:- Portholme Road Selby North Yorkshire YO8 4QQ England

  3. that could be an interesting drive for you then! I've got an over heating issue - a coolant leak somewhere that I cant find, fortunately I'm only in Harrogate if she finally gives up, and a different engine to put in over winter

  8. The 6mm spacers go between the actual hub and carrier. I packed mine out with 3 washers per bolt. You need longer bolts to gold the carriers as well (6mm longer than standard, just measure yours and get them off ebay) The spacers are needed for any mk4 based brake conversion onto a mk3 platform as far as I know. 323 cupra r discs and brembos fit perfectly behind TT comps. TT comps are et32 and 7 or 7.5j iirc.. I would show u pics of the spacers and where they go etc but my car is now a bare shell haha..

  14. Here's a bit of information for you. If using the Victor Reinz head gasket please go for the 1.6mm Space plate. If you purchase a 3mm plate as I have that gasket may be a little thick. You will need to order the 021 103 383 N. Drill the rivets out and replace the centre section with your spacer! Will keep you posted

  15. Club stand at prestige! I am in the middle somewhere was an absolutely sh**e day both weather wise and organisation wise... Which was handy as I only jet washed her off the day before, that and the drive down made her far from show ready! Was good to catch up with Carl and Lee who was on a club stand just opposite!
