  1. After a few months of occasionally driving the VR but mostly ignoring under its cover on the drive, I've finally found a bit of time today to start doing a few bits to it for this years show season.[emoji51] I started with getting rid of the oil cooler from the front bumper as it's got boring answering questions about it and it definitely won't go with the slightly different look I've got planned for it this year. Last pic of it on there, I've managed to squeeze it in between the A/C rad and crossmember after drilling a hole in the front panel for the pipes to run through, then secured it n

  2. So we are hoping to have another club stand again for the season opener at ultimate dubs. This will be for an indoor stand and for 5 cars. If you wish to put your car on our club stand then this is the right place! We will need 3 of your best pictures of your car along with a list of mods. Now we are all aware that the cars are probably undergoing surgery and wont be finished but put your plans and a list of things that are happening/going to happen before the show. 7. Thanks guys, I'm on Nights this weekend. But managed to spend an hour or 2 looking over the car today, and playing with it. Blocked the hose from the inlet pipe between charger and throttle body first. (Hoping to source/make a pipe without this hole in it eventually once I know it runs ok) Have then run the Head cover breather through the catch can and then dumping from there to atmosphere as suggested. This seems to run a lot nicer so far. Planning on putting the PCV and associated pipes back on it, as have 2 brand new Genuine VW PCV's in the garage, then through the Catch can and to atmosphe

So here's a quick run down if my car, it's in very early stages as I've only had it on the road a few weeks, but I've been advised from the fb group to throw a post up anyways so here's some pics with current spec and what will be done by March. Reg: G3 OCD (ignore the smoked plate, full size original plates are going on when everywhere reopens after new year) Exterior - factory paint in very good condition, recent work on drivers side completed and rear. - rear w
