Sorry for the late reply. I haven't been on here in a while. Got a bit disheartened after that day. The car is back now. I collected it the second week of January. Vince has turned it into a monster. Its pushing 355hp!! It was mapped without the methanol though as my kit stopped working for some reason. I've got a few more bits to do and then will probably take it back for another tune up. I need a bigger intercooler, relocate my air filter in to the wheel arch as the MAF is to close to the turbo and I have no more room to move it away further unless I move the air filter into the wh4 points

Check out this bad boy on eBay at the moment! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Modified-Mini-Golf-VR6-175bhp-Autotest-track-day-car-/121890540424 I will just leave it right there haha This would be a great little project car for someone to have a play, possibly for drag racing not sure how it would go down the strip with those small wheels though! What's the most craziest VR6 conversion you have ever seen?2 points

If you want Wossner and PEC stuff, try VRT. (VRTonline.co.uk) They are the cheapest I've found in the UK for this stuff. Mention me and you might even get a further discount! One thing I would recommend is speaking to the machine shop BEFORE you have any work done on the block, or buy the pistons! They can advise then on what size pistons would be best for your block once machined, can be a costly mistake if the block ends up being too big for your pistons once you've had it sorted! I didn't ask to have mine done mate to be honest as I'd read good and bad reports on having it all done to do with the Harmonics of the VR engine, but sure they can advise you if its worth while and if they can do it. Simon.1 point -

No problem mate, Happy to assist It's a proper old school race engine engineering company, so they can be a blunt on the phone so bear with them, but they are the best i've used in over 20 years of engine modding/building. Simon.1 point -

Vr6 in East Scotland
ky_uk reacted to arbroathautospar for a topic
Aye that's not even half of it but I was so far in I couldn't stop so it's probably the dearest vr6 in Scotland but at least I know it's solid. Being on the east of Scotland doesn't do these cars any good but if it was a 94 ford from here it would be in a poly bag [emoji23]1 point -
wow - that's pretty rotten! unfortunately seems to be the norm when it comes to mk3 these days :( Fair play for sticking to it and getting it sorted1 point
