hello all! im a college student at UNOH and i love my 95 passat GLX. however lately it is confusing me to death. i towed it to college because its a 285k mile car and i didnt want to kill it on an 8 hour drive. i went to take it off of the trailer and it would crank all day long but not start. of course the campus is filled with master technicians but not one experienced with VW gas engines. i have been trying to get it running but with classes i dont have much time. so far i have replaced the cam sensor because it read 45 mega ohms. i assumed if it had a higher resistance than the human body

i dont have an obd1 scan tool avaible to me. i probably should have said its an obd1 coil pack car. is the crank sensor the only thing that picks up rpm with an obd1 car? i appreciate the help very much! i will be pulling off the crank sensor and fuel pump relay once i finish my homework for the day.

Genuine set of 15" VW Speedlines from a Corrado. Good condition but paint needs re-doing to make them perfect as its bubbled up in a few spots. Come with tyres but they've been on the wheels in storage for 6 years so they probably want changing.. Seen a couple of sets up recently from £250 to £350 so I'll sit right in the middle and accept £300 if someone wants them. One centre cap is missing but I've seen a few kicking about online so should be easy to replace. Only got a picture of one at the moment so i'll get more photos if people are interested in them.

Hi all, I've been lurking for a long time as I've been wanting (needing) a VR6 for many years. I upgraded from a 1.8l Mk3 Driver to a 2.8l VR6 just before Christmas. The car still needs a lot of work as previous owner wanted a show car and a lot of bodge-jobs have come to light as the weeks go by so I am outside every weekend making it my own. It pushed out 243 after changing spark plugs,engine hasn't been worked hard.gotta drive in manual for one month to loosen up the engine then go back again .custom remap engine and dsg.feels a total different CSR now though ,much responsive, no lag throttle, much smoother, dsg shifts quicker, overall it improved it a lot. Just need to drive it hard in manual for one month then go back again.
