  3. Hi and welcome to the club mate. Good luck with your work your going to carry out. To be fair there not a hard car to work on mechanically. I think id probably just source the parts required and have a go at fitting them yourself. Bodywork id leave to the big boys as this will determine the future looks. There's lots of members on here to help mate so should you get stuck, just find the correct section and post up a thread. You'll find the Vr will use up all your spare cash as there a never ending money pit but its worth it for the smiles it will bring when you get it back to its fo

  9. The airbox should be the same between models, you put your maf in the box and connect the tubing to it, you should be well away! If you do Swiss cheese the box, only make holes in the front left corner as you look at it, from the front of the car, this way you should get cooler air from the wing area rather than hot from the bay.
