  1. Basic guide to explain why your car is going "bat s^&t crazy"! Your ecu, regardless of car, uses a lot of sensory inputs to make it work, how it does this is a part of a recalibration/remapping thread I am doing and too complex for here. Suffice to say, if these sensory inputs are not correct or make no sense to the ecu, it doesn't like it and throws a wobbly! Due to the fact that many sensors can be used for the ecu to check in one area - i.e. it looks at 2 maps with engine rpm v's coolant temp on one and engine rpm v's voltage on the other, it is essentially looking at 3 sensors her

    Caliper Rebuild

In the process of stripping and rebuilding my front and rear calipers from my raddo vr6. Having a few issues finding the correct bleed nipples to replace the originals.. (Don't know the size and how to measure the originals) Also does anyone else have any trick ways of getting the new seals in and also keeping them from getting into this state again? Will be uploading pictures as I go.. I have the calipers all currently off the car and have begun stripping them down. Both Pistons were fairly worn and rusty on the fronts so I have ordered new repair kits £33 for the pair.. Any advice w

    Logo's

Possibly but would take a while. To put them on backgrounds you tend to have to cut around the image so with all the flames etc I'd have to spend time doing it - will try a few some point this week

  12. Never had the need to strip mine back to basics, all I've ever done is pop the pistons out so far as to be able to give them a good clean using methylated spirits and very fine scotch brite on the pistons and then smear rubber grease round them and push them back in. I remember a few years ago now though having to replace the seals in the rear caliper on my GSXR 600 as it had seized up, thoroughly cleaned out the recess for the seals put in a light smear of rubber grease, and then carefully put the seals in, then light smear of rubber grease on the piston and used a G clamp to carefully push
