Here's another bloody bombshell my eldest daughter is going to stay with friends in Australia for 5 weeks and arrives back on the Saturday!! I will have to drop caravan and VR off early doors Saturday then unhitch the caravan from my truck and leave for Manchester about 2pm and grab the daughter! She will be well happy all that flying and jet lag! Straight to a car show hahaha3 points

Took the VR to Players Classic this weekend, was an absolutely brilliant show with a great mix of cars, on show and on track, it's also at Goodwood which is a beautiful place! Can't wait until next year, a highly recommended show![emoji1360] Also got a couple of 'proper' pics of the car taken;2 points -

Sounds like a plan mate and you can piss yourself at me trying to pitch two tents coz I'm f**ked if I'm sleeping in the awning bit again. [emoji23][emoji23]. I reckon I pitch my tent on one side of your caravan and Bealieboy on the other. By God that boy can snore. I bet a pound to a penny Bennyk doesn't share with him this year. Hahahahaha.1 point

Half weekend ticket is camping Saturday night and show Sunday. If you want to be part of the Saturday stand it would be best to go all out and camp on the Friday night aswell like some of us hardcore campers are doing. We need as many cars for both days at this show as they nearly turned us away so come on dudes, let make this a good one. It's gonna be even bigger than last year and we all enjoyed it last time. Get the Friday booked off work and make a weekend of it. [emoji106]1 point

Well the chaps finished the floor today. From these scary things. To this welded sealed and painted. In car shot. Underneath Then finished off with some sound deadening. I can now put some damp core in then refit my professionally cleaned carpets and start rebuilding this wench! Brake pad fitting kit for Leon Cupra R brembos. £160 a pair on mainland UK. Or £100 a pair from Seat Belfast. Managed to find a used set on the rear of a maserati coupe. They run the same calipers on rear!! Price for a couple of springs though is shocking!! Anyhow loads more to do before1 point

Pete's OBD2 Corrado VR6 - On The Road

I went to Stealth yesterday, feeling quite apprehensive! I am the 3rd car that has used their new strapping system, so they can run higher power cars without needing to use glue all of the time, and all went well. Be interesting to see how John Maliks 800BHP + corrado gets on when its back on the rollers Anyway, back my car...early on the mapping session it appeared to have a misfire after 5,000 RPM which put a stop on the session, ended up being spark plugs as engine has been overfueling and plugs were pretty shot ! Vince has recommended FR7KPP33+ - so we could continu1 point -
So, some things have changed, some haven't had the interior cleaned up, painted some bumpers and shot some pics1 point

Al's mk3 vr6 turbo build
Neil20vtc reacted to al_mooring for a topic
Wow haven't updated this in a while. Not much has happened in the last 6 months although ssautowerks have made a really nice job of the cage and got my CAE shifter base plate seam welded in. Also had a quick mock up with the six speed box and turbo ready for the manifold to be fabricated Also having them fabricate a tubular front end so we can maximise the size of the intercooler and radiator and also been able to ditch the horrible plastic front panel.1 point -
Why don't we go to the Beeb with the vr6oc version of top gear? We all think we know about cars, Mistline likes drifting, we've all got the banter game off pat, hvr6 could be our Sabine Schmidt!!! I'd actually pay money to watch the likes of Cabbs on a European road trip to southern Spain in a £1500 Porsche or worse!!! What do you guys reckon?! [emoji848]1 point
