She's looks a bit different now from when I last posted a pic last year Still going strong [emoji1377][emoji1377]4 points -
No I haven't had it on Dyno yet, think it's around the 300 mark my self. I have a mate who has a MK4 R32 at about 272bhp, and I'm way quicker off the line, and have a higher top end. Had it go off the clock few times. My MAF is a flange I have welded in to my pipe work, so not a standard MAF. I'll get some pic when I'm working on it next. Cheers for your kind words buddy More of an update comming later tonight.2 points

Just got some pictures of my fuel swirl pot that will be used to feed my belt driven Aeromotive pump. It will be fitted in the hole that used to be occupied by the standard fan intake. P-motorsports alloy fabrication is second to none, just look at those welds[emoji851]2 points

By March 2012 it looked like this... I've done all the work my self on my drive way.. No garages involved, only time it goes to garage is for it MOT. My Detailing Seseon Custom / home made air ride controls The rear struts are universal Air lift, which I welded a mk3 mount on to the bottom, and1 point -

Say hello to project OE! Well I needed somewhere to get rid of all the standard crap I've amassed over the last 3 years of VR ownership [emoji23]1 point -
Sorry for slow reply buddy, I've been so busy lately. But if I remember right I paid : £50 for sand wage plate £20 for theremostat upgrade. So £70 in total for sand wage plate. £25 for metal sealing caps. (Not needed if you already have metal one) £40 for 16 row oil cooler £20-30 for braided line and fitting (made the lines my self) i went for quite fat braided hose to help drop the oil pressure slightly. The extended connecting pipe to keep the original oil cooler is only made by United Motorsport I1 point

Mk3 golf vr6 loosing water
VR6 Supercharged reacted to c00k for a topic
Check the rear water pipe, that comes out of the rear of the cylinder head. Common leaking place, plus it's just above the exhaust manifold, so the coolant would burn off. Then check the rest of coolant pipes. Also check for wet carpets in both front foot well, check if underlay is wet. This is caused by leaking heater matrix, and heater matrix needs replacing. If if all else fails add a few drops of red food colouring to the coolant, making it a much more vibrant red instead of a pinky colour, then it 's usually easier to spot leak, and definitely easier to spot stai1 point -
look for pink-ish staining around the coolant pipes and expansion tank have a good look at everything, could be the expansion cap on the tank letting go and running down the chassis?,,, also remember if your constantly topping it up with fresh water then this will also contrbute to corrosion inside the cooling system/engine sooner or later which isnt good as im assuming previous owner would of been doing the same as you , you want to use vw's g13 {or what ever number there on now} coolant mixed 50/50 with deionised water, if your coolant just looks like fresh water and has no colour then get i1 point

Check your pipes to, you may have a cracked pipe and it's running onto the exhaust and evaporating hence no water on the floor, mine was leaking at the main pump only found out because the fan belt was wet1 point -

Check your water pumps for any visual signs of water leaks/corrosion? Had similar on mine a few months back, turned out it was the secondary/auxilary water pump..1 point -

Here's a picture of my car, well that's if I've done it right..1 point -
I was in @VIW28 Monster when it was running 518BHP through the front wheels! He then blew his manifold to bits and fitted a short runner which allowed him to turn up the boost! Last it was running was 650bhp! Then the world is moving at a crazy pace! Gethins VR is a 24V MK4 engine running a huge precision turbo and its a crazy thing! The Schrick is a whole new manifold! Benny's attention to detail is unreal and he is a wheel whore! As said if your scooby is pushing big numbers a standard VR wont be impressed by a standard VR. If you have the coin and the time its easy to ma1 point

I did something against my religion this week and paid someone else to do something on the VR[emoji15][emoji23], I had the gear and my US hand brake gaiter's re-trimmed in alcantara to match the seat centre's[emoji4]. I was looking at changing the gear gaiter and knob but I really like the oe full leather ones and I'm really pleased with the outcome, the only problem is that I'm now looking at other parts of the interior wondering what else I could get done![emoji85]1 point

Just finished reading through the thread. Great work chap, clearly got got plenty of skills. Have you had the car on a dyno? I have just bought the same charger from Bealyboy. If you get the chance to throw up a few more images of your MAF, Air Filter and pipework locations of the charger and maybe a video.. Great build and attention to detail. Off to have a look at the daily build now.1 point
