Hi Ash, yes mate off eBay. Been after this car off the owner for a while but he was reluctant to sell it. Changed few bits on it already but need a full set of leathers for it, then debating on a light set of tints all round and then full respray to show standard and then Inbetween start polishing the engine bits and either supercharger on it or turbo. Big plans for this car. You're vr6 is really nice. Looks the part mate [emoji106]2 points

Hi guys, soon I will be starting my turbo build and I would like to hear any comments on what parts you guys suggest from experience, Its going to be a 3k+ build because It will be a year + project, Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, First thing I have to do is source an engine and freshen it up with new piston rings valve stem seals etc etc and give it a good ol' rebuild and do as much of the turbo work I can out of the engine because i am currently still using my car so cant be building on my daily! As soon as Ive gotten an engine I will be posting whenever I can over1 point

It's in two weeks time so restore it after! [emoji23][emoji23] I am from Belfast originally but I had a place in Mid Wales. Just other side of Shrewsbury. Still have a business over there. I am now in Doncaster though. [emoji106]?. If you look under meets and events you will see VWNW. It's a single day event and only £7.50 at the gate! It's a great day tbh.1 point

To be honest in the interest of safety I have to agree to some extent. I had seriously stretched rubber on my Mullberry Highline and it seriously lacked grip. My current one had slightly stretched which was better although I just replaced them with 4 full size yokies and it sticks like a bitch now! I think moderation and with the use of common sense a little stretch would be okay but sometimes people are just daft with it! I think really daft camber would be a riskier affair and in my opinion a lot shitter on the eyeballs! Each to their own though!1 point

So today I did something that I didn't particularly want to do, but clearly I'm now to far into this show and scene bull crap so I did it![emoji85][emoji23] Notched my drivers side chassis as when I air out the front of the car sat higher on the drivers side, due to the driveshaft sitting on the chassis, here's how I did it; Marked it up; Cut the hole ready for a bit of 3" pipe; Started to weld it up before cutting off the bottom half, Got it all welded up, which was bloody awkward on the back half due to there being a VR6 in the way![emoji23] Grinded down; Prepped, primered1 point

only the mk3 that actually works at the moment though1 point

Wouldn't really make a difference in "strength" per se, maybe ratio at torque level v's rpm. If you want longevity, I would literally think of it this way; 1. "Is my gearbox in good condition?" - are the teeth worn too much? Can someone or you do a check on the state of your box? Using perhaps dyes or other such techniques? A poor base means a bad start! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnetic_particle_inspection http://www.rlengines.com/Web_Pages/Magnafluxing.html 2. "Can I afford someone to modify the strength of my box?" - if so, how? Assuming it's too expensive to manufa1 point
