Hi all, looking for input so I don't destroy my new gearbox. as a few of you know I have a 4x4 syncro turbo corrado which has eaten a quaife 6 speed box, I bought a 'low' mileage box from Germany that ended up needing a total rebuild including new diff gears. I have had the gears and shafts shot peened and super finished for strength (report to come) anyway I have been reading about the torque eating 3rd and some have suggested that hitting full boost a bit later (+4500rpm) can help prolong the life of a gearbox, especially 3rd. Can anyone shed some light on the subject? I have attac
