  1. Nightmare mate, atleast it didn't hydro lock, so long as you get rid of all the water like your are doing, hopefully all should be good. Snorkel kit you need, going up side of windscreen haha

  2. Thanks it is s good car very solid was surprised my self it does require a bit of welding in 2 places just a small section behind drivers side rear wheel and one rear floor Bung has gone it did look mint but me being me power washed it cleaning the underneath and carpet felt wet and power wash had blown the grommet through so have a fist hole but for what I paid for it I'm not bothered just get Ben to weld it and reseal and it will be like new so not bad considering

    Supercharged Mk3 Golf VR6

So I have decided to change up the golf a little over the next few months. Having come to terms with the fact I doubt I will do track days in it I want to use it more and make it a little more comfortable. So I am going for a subtle amp/sub install, false floor and air ride. Then tidy some bits of paint up and drive it. Made a start on the sub install. Started with a frame. 20160911_164018 by Dominic Joy, on Flickr Made a sub box 20160916_163349 by Dominic Joy, on Flickr 20160916_174541 by Dominic Joy, on Flickr In place

  9. Can't believe how clean that car is, I even considered buying it myself. Not a bad price either by all accounts. Welcome back to the fold. [emoji1360]

  10. I'm now the new owner of this beast happy to own a Vr again even though my wife cannot work out why I would leave my clk on the drive and put my Vr in the garage needs a small bit of bodywork doing to it which I hope Ben will do when he has time and plan my attack over the winter for next season to bring it out

  15. So managed to track down a new idler pulley ! Hopefully get it fitted this weekend and get boosting again ?? Also managed pick up some power flex rest axel bushes for £48 quid from car parts 4 less using discount code FAST10. Bargain, can't wait get them fitted as old ones seen better days. Not a job ill be doing myself though oh no ! Sunroof also broke on Sunday after VWNW ? so will be replacing the troublesome Corrado cassette with a golf mk3 item and using a Passat b4 moon roof glass. Should be a nice upgrade.
