  1. Hi all, After much researching and looking around for the last 2 months I finally succumbed and bought myself a Mk4 V6 4motion. In the past I had a "P reg" VR6 which is why I decided I had to get another V6. I will get some photo's up shortly when i get a chance to get some taken in daylight hours. Will be good to find out when some local meets are happening in the North to get to meet other V6 owners.

  4. Time too consult the Haynes manual me thinks.. As I know the dash had to come out of the van when that went a few yrs back now. As stated though, be careful an make sure you don't trap anything putting it back, as the guy that did the one on my van (Ye course I know what i'm doing) trapped wire and things, and afterwards certain stuff stopped working..

  5. I have a vague recollection of somebody saying they did it without removing the dash but i can imagine that being insanely awkward. Although removing the dash is a time consuming task if you do it slowly and pay attention to where things come from its not too bad of a job. I just ripped it all out did the matrix and threw it all back in, didn't take too long.

  7. This weeks errr progress or more me tinkering I suppose [emoji848] I've decided to revert back to the original bumpers so I can fit the full Votex kit as the rear bumper doesn't fit US bumpers at all and the front doesn't fit properly as shown on the previous page, so I thought that I'd have a play with the plate recess on the front bumper to match my shortened rear one.@donnyboy kindly donated his old front bumper for me to cut bits out of, so I could try the following; Trimmed about; Holes cut into bumper, no going back at this point; All hot stapled and plastic welded in; A skim of filler
