  1. Welcome You will have a good time working on the VR6 engine They are great to work on
  2. Under a week to go and still would like to see more cars joining us. I'm now ready. Corrado is ready for the strip. Looking forward to some good times. Pete
  3. I can answer that. No difference at all
  4. Unfortunately I can't see the image clearly, do you have a higher resolution image?
  5. Probably time to rebuild the box. Possibly bearing starting to fail
  6. Not sure mate as I am running a 2.8 manifold due to converting to OBD2. I am running a 2.9 block.
  7. Hey dude. I had it fabricated up based off the original as was looking a bit shabby
  8. Replaced alloy rocker cover with plastic item now. Also fitted adaptor to finally fit my decat pipe properly (exhaust is 2.5" and de-cat is 2.25") hopefully will stop it blowing on the joint once and for all.
  9. For sale I have my old alloy rocker cover off my Corrado. Comes complete with studs and nuts (with the exception of the 2 nuts you will re-use nearest coil pack. Comes complete with stainless Steele mounts for the fuel lines. Could do with a bit of a wipe down, has previously been vapour blasted. Couple of the threads on the studs will need chasing as nipped them with mole grips when removing. £50 + P&P
  10. http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/00533 Can't find anything on the second code ? When you clear it does it come back?
  11. I tried getting these from ECP once. After getting the wrong seal (twice) I gave up and went the dealers and would be able track down on ETKA. Other useful links: http://etka.cc/vw/lang/e https://7zap.com/en/ Pete
  12. Good luck. These are really good shocks. Got them on my Corrado and are coated so do not corrode. I just sprayed some chain wax on the threads to keep them clean.
  13. Not a VR6 application but still a very interesting video to watch.
  14. sounds like a possible crank sensor fault - quite common for hot start issues as sensor breaks down when hot preventing car from starting.
  15. You will have some fun with a 2.4" pulley! Mine is a 2.75" and even with a duel idler pulley find I get belt slip - If I go for more boost in the future I.E lower boosting impeller and higher rated bearings, I will surely be going for a cogged pulley setup. My view was when fitting mine, get the basics covered, get it running and see what can be improved from there as I am probably pushing the limits at the moment without a spacer plate, meth and and an oil cooler
  16. I'm running a Vortech V1 @ 9 PSI and 320CC injectors and went for an in tank Walbro from Stealth, a bit of a faff to fit but seems good so far - only down side is that you get surging when almost running on empty. I was told that I probably would have been ok with my stock pump, but at 22 years old I wanted to cover the basics.
  17. @UnitedMotorsport are you still around? I've seen on the Facebook group people have tried to call them, email them, and PM them on this website but to no avail.. Recommend calling The Phirm to see if UM are still trading, sure places like The Phirm and Stealth Racing can help you.
  18. anyone else got a stealth turbo kit recently? @Stealth Racing any developments on the kit and stage 3?
  19. If only I could do the same, but oddly not many people want IT management on the side haha
  20. A guy was asking about power steering pipes on here earlier in the week. You'll have to have a quick look on the forum though.
