  1. My corrado water temp is 90 when on the road, but creeps up to around 100 when in traffic. Oil averages around 100 - 106 degrees. I've replaced the entire coolant system, radiator, both pumps, matrix, thermostat, housing and oil cooler. The cooling system on the corrado is less efficient than the mk3, but then again the bottom end is 2.9 too.
  2. A healthy coolant system and oil cooler should be just fine on a daily mate. what temps are you currently getting for oil / water?
  3. Here you go mate, this is how it should look: I'd say your PCV valve has been removed, also check on the manifold see if its blocked off, if it isn't, then your car might not be running as it should, the pipe goes over the PCV as seen in the photo, and goes into the manifold behind spark plug number 3.
  4. I'd get my money back if I was you mate, that clearly isn't the right pump you need. Have you not considered a second hand pump off another car? Should be a quick / cheap fix?
  5. Or just look at the for sale section for cars breaking. Captain Pugwash is breaking a mk3 currently.
  6. Ahh yes. Pretty sure that there should be a pipe to the manifold there. I'll take a photo of mine after doctor who given I've got all that area stripped out following my fuel leak earlier!
  7. Seen em as little as 600 these days, but I'm not bothering, 3.68 final drive and my schimmel cams more than out perform a schrick. Are you coming the RR day Vince?
  8. Totally understand. There's a reason I drive 85 miles to get my car worked on, and then 85 miles back home again. Even for trivial jobs.... I have had bad experiences with local garages near me, so tank up and go for a drive to stealth I remember back in the day when we ordered over 30 schrick inlet manifolds and remaps from stealth, was an epic group buy, pretty much still keeping the second hand market for schricks going
  9. Hey, this is odd... I wouldn't expect the needle to raise with the sensor disconnected, if you have put another cluster in your car and it still does the same makes me think there is a fault somewhere. The only thing I can recommend is to start tracing wires back from the clocks.... A Bentley would be handy, the wiring diagrams are pretty good. I'm sure someone else will have some ideas...
  10. Just use washers mate, that's all I had on mine.
  11. haha yeah, that will soon be used up in fuel going stealth next week
