    What might only look a minor coolant loss when the car isn't up to temperature may be amplified once the coolant system is pressurized up, therefore even a pin-hole will probably spray out enough coolant to cause you problems.

    Yeah, they are not exactly water tight plug, but any water ingress will cause you problems.

    Aux pump leaking is a common issue, simple job to remove plastics, coil-pack to inspect what is happening

    I think it was the last episode last week, was really good with the lotus, I always nearly well up at the end when they do the reveal. The episode where they fitted the servos were pretty good so they guy could drive it due to his health issues!

    Easier if you have a ramp! Dropping the gearbox is fairly straight forward, and its not a complicated job to do once you have disconnected the slave cylinder, selector cabled, starter motor etc..

    Is it the circuit board or the gauge that has packed up? presume you have covered basics, and verified there is 12v going to the gauge for the RPM?
