  2. Well done fella, can be easy after 40 a day! Think of the extra ££ to spend on the VR6!
  3. It will probably be throwing oil back through the air intake and will cover your throttle body and back in the inlet, so you might have a bit of cleaning up to do too
  4. Who's been shopping so far ? Remember the sale of these items help us to purchase other items for the shop
  5. Ah yes. Someone has blocked it off.... It looks like some point In the past the PCV valve has been removed, possibly due to it breaking (common fault). I'm not sure of it has had some of the pipe where the bolt is snipped off as it should bend towards to where it would plug into the PCV. There's a thread on here with information on the PCV valve. Let me dig it out Edit: here is the thread that will provide more info http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?232789
  6. Very good choice sir, well worth being in the dog house for
  7. There is an immobiliser built into ecu... Did you install the immobiliser box and coil that goes around the ignition barrel? You would know if this if you plug it into VAG-COM as it would produce s fault code stating "engine start blocked by immobiliser"
  8. Ace I don't know many VR's without damaged jacking points!
  9. I've added a few new games today See if you can beat my scores!!
  10. Yeah mate, its 6 pin on corrado. I've not long sold my old MAF as I've converted my corrado to OBD2
  11. Don't think I'd be able get hold of any before Tuesday to be honest. Would need try get from my local motor factors place / ECP.
  12. Ah ! I have an OBD2 MAF on my corrado you can probably test with but location wise, its probably better being near Michael! If there's no change, it's more than likely your MAF.
  13. Hi mate try a guy called "hotgolf" on Club GTI forums
  14. I'm going wet vac the interior of my corrado on Tuesday as the carpets / seats are filthy. Has anyone ever done this and what is the best shampoo to use on interior? Cheers Pete
  15. Yeah as above really. Although you can pick schricks up for half the price they once were!
  16. I notice you live in Congleton mate... I'm only up the road in kidsgrove and have VAG-COM if you need it plugging in, assuming yours is OBD2.
  17. Yeah that 3.68 is something else, and often overlooked as a good value for money modification! Don't think I could ever drive a VR6 with a standard box on again!
  18. MAF / Blue Temp Sensor / Lambda / temp sensors are usually your culprits here, however it would just be guess work until it has been on VAG-COM and you have monitored the measuring block and checked for fault codes.
  19. Play it safe, always get new if ever they need come out again makes the job 10x easier
  20. this is crazy! and it wont half shift with that VR motor in it! keep up updated with this mental build!
