  1. Sounds like a faulty ABS sensor or ABS ring's..... VAG-COM / VCDS is what is needed to identify which wheel has the issue. I've seen rings become misshapen / corroded that causes the ABS to have a "moment" when its not expected, but could be a sensor too, also seen instances where the wheel bearings are on the way out that causes movement and results in the ABS kicking in.
  2. I know that the police were clamping down on this type of "tyre" stretch as it is potentially unsafe, risk of curbing is also increased and it destroys the handing if your driving it every day. I tried stretched tyres and quickly got bored of the poor handling despite it looking the dogs. I know there are a lot of MOT changes that came into effect on the 20th March, so worth checking.... Hope this helps!
  3. The gaskets are crap mate I ended up contacting TuningLeader or hottuning I think it was on ebay for a "gasket / adaptor" kit, it was about £20 - £30 from memory. If yours is now blowing, it would suggest some engine movement that has crushed the gasket, that's what happened with mine, and also the bolts supplied were too long so didn't actually tighten up as well as they should
  4. vibratechnics - Club Members get a 10% discount on these too when purchased direct from vibratechnics

  12. As above, this is realistically the only thing to check after what you have had done already... just try unplugging it, if there is no change in the idle and power delivery there is your issue if you don't have access to VCDS
  13. I know if the blue thermo temp sensor is faulty it could cause it to over fuel, and also if you have a low temp thermostat, it will take longer to warm up, so will throw more fuel in.
  14. be surprised if you could even get one to be honest! Can you epoxy it or plastic weld it back to the box?
  15. rahh! getting it to fit on the mobile site is an easy job - just need to fiddle the style sheets.... not 100% what you mean Gethin aout the topics replied too rather than individual posts?
  16. Good result See I knew it had to be a flap problem LOL on my Corrado, its a metal clip mounted on the heater box, and the clip just needed tweaking up to pinch the Bowden cable sleeve, giving the impression that the controls were working, but not actually opening / closing the flap! At least you know what it is, and more importantly have working heaters
  17. Good news! We have now re-stocked the online shop... New design tax disc holders, inside & outside window stickers available. click here to visit the online shop
  18. Good luck mate Glad the information helped, I didn't bother removing the pins to feed the grommet on, I cheated and sliced the grommet, its still a really good tight fit and still water tight.... Then there is the big rubber thing that looks like something rude that goes over the ECU plug, I sliced and cable tied LOL. you cant see, I just made sure the slit was on the underside as I was limited on time at the time Cheers for the part number, im sure that would be helpful, I did manage to negotiate a small discount on them as I purchased so many rolls LOL looks great now though. OEM look.
