  1. Can't day I had an issue with mine many years ago on my mk3, maybe a change in materials on more recent ones?
  2. Passed its MOT! Been off the road since 2009, only advisory was that the jacking points were corroded. Said it looks amazing and wanted buy it off me lol.
  3. Happy days then mate just give the studs on the head a good soak prior to removing too and you'll be fine.

  5. Hey! You need the box, the chip from the key and the ring that goes around the ignition barrel... If you don't have the above, you'll need get a complete setup as they are matched together, or send your ECU off to stealth and get what's called an imboliser delete to remove the code from the ECU that controls the Imobiliser function

    Always been hit and miss for me with v-power, but I have used BP ultimate regularly with my last VR's
  7. Fairly easy to be honest with a grinder best to wrap it before you put it on the car
  8. Could be blocked sunroof drain channels dripping in and running down.

  11. You honestly won't believe it! It's not April fools day either.... But the Corrado is finished! MOT booked for Monday 13:00! Fingers crossed for me guys! Few little cosmetic things to sort out but so happy I'm almost there! Took it for a test drive, it goes like absolute stink and sounds so smooth....

    That's true matey just wack away, I cut a section out and welded it up so it made a step so accommodate the pulleys.
  19. Easiest way is to look on vag-cat and cross reference the part number, I'm afraid I don't know off the top of my head

    I don't recall chopping my mounts? Although I also swapped the sub frame for the mk3 wide track
