  4. It's just around the corner, I'm quite excited about this season, not 100% sure the move for Hamilton was the right one either. Will be a good race on Sunday though.... Whats your thoughts with this Years season? Who's your money on ?
  5. Hi there. Do you know what model Clifford it is? there are some good mobile alarm fitters around that might be able to help.... Your alarm box could be anywhere to be honest, depends where the fitter stashed it usually behind the dashboard somewhere so you'll have trace the wires from the proximity sensors etc...

  12. The standard ECU will have immobilizer function built in, has it been deleted? the giveaway is that usually it runs for a split second and cuts out, produces a engine blocked by immobilizer fault, but as you cant talk to your ECU then you wont know if that is the case I had to get mine done on the corrado..... could be FPR, but your clutching at straws I think, personally I think you need to look at what's going on in the ECU.
  13. Strange, have you checked continuity since its stopped working? on mine, my OBD port wires plugged into a "junction box" as it feeds the ABS ECU into there also.... Does your car actually run? do you have a spark, fuel etc.. ?
  14. Hi mate, i've sort of lost track with this Did you sort the diagnostics port? I think the first thing is to get that working and look at the fault codes in the ECU and start looking at some measuring blocks?

  16. Have a look in the for sale section on here bud. Plenty of golfs being broken, just check your part numbers match
  17. This is just insane mate love it. 4 months is nothing, I've been building mine up for nearly 4 years now! Haha. Hopefully going for MOT on Monday
  18. MAF I'd say. There was a procedure that you can use some if the measuring blocks to see if the MAF was performing as well as it should be, but it escapes me.... Good news is you can pick the obd2 MAFs up cheaply enough, or if you have any friends in your area who has one you can try, even better. . It's a fairly easy thing to change over
  19. Haha. Lets hope not. Can't wait see this run the strip. Should be awesome! Looking forward to this show
  20. It has to be a VR6 or R32 1.8t do not have the same noise lol
  21. Hi mate. All comes down to money at the end of the day, and how competent you are at repairing. To get an idea of the extent of the damage you'd have take out the carpets or remove under seal, weld up the holes, obviously with carpet out and re-seal, as its all hidden doesn't matter too much about the looks.... Looking back at some of the car restoration program's on the box, some are really really bad and they still manage to repair, if your planning on keeping it then worth while to repair, depends how good you are with a welder, but getting it done professionally could become costly.... Ar
  22. Are the part numbers on the injectors? I've just had a set refurbished at Mr Injector that I can check the part number on if written on?
  23. Try giving Vince at stealth a ring, he might have something knocking around the workshop
