  2. It was a bit of a struggle to be honest, I had a lot if swelling and as they went in through the front of my neck I had difficulty swallowing anything solid for a few weeks, even drinking a cup of tea was a struggle. Feel really good for it now though but sometimes I get tickles in my throat
  3. That's bloody unlucky mate That's expensive for a matrix isn't it? Are you taking your car ultimate dubs too? Always at the last bloody minute!! Grrrr Good luck with the fix buddy!
  4. Thanks for reporting that Bugharris, getting membership packs out has been a priority of ours
  5. ok can you try again, if this doesn't work then I'm at a loss mate
  6. Hi all, Images should now display in forum threads Took a while track down the issue. Daverse can you please try on your lovely mobile device?
  7. Thought I would start a thread so that people can contribute towards to show how far peoples engine bays have progressed since first owning the car Mine has come along a fair way, and when my car rolled out on the low loader you probably wouldn't mistake it for an engine bay you'd see at a scrap yard! any way, I'll show you mine, if you show me yours
  8. Hi mate. If you sign up as a club member there's a very good guide our club mechanic did in our knowledge vault Http://www.vr6oc.com/membership.php It's not that bad of a job to be honest. Cheers Pete
  9. It really changes the characteristics of the vr6 engine, giving a much needed low down boost or torque, and a "surge" like feeling then the manifold switches all the way to the limiter. Now you can pick them up for between 600 - 700 quid they are worth the money I'd say , from memory when I had mine, it went from around 201bhp to 213 bhp, but ignore the figures as its a pleasure to drive. You can see some interesting results from different modifications on the rolling road here; http://www.vr6oc.com/results.html Pete
  10. I think that's a question for dlea on here as I bought it off him a few years ago, not 100% sure what the cost is, but imagine it costs more than heat wrap lol
  11. Think most people are on it already with ultimate dubs next week. Be a few more weeks before I think about cleaning mine lol

I changed my steering column in my mk2 conversion and had the mk3 stalks with the hazard light on the top of the steering wheel cowl
  13. Tricky one that mate. I'm sure there are places out there that can repair this safely, but you need to think about integrity of the impact zones, I had an 80mph smash at the ring about 1000 years ago and not only were my chassis legs crashed, bent, split it also pushed my rear footwells up in the car, so at the very least get a proper assessment of the car done
  14. Just seen a red corrado g60 myself. Typical!
  15. Haha, just realised my photo auto corrected clutch to crotch!! You honestly don't want to know what I've been searching for on my mobile in the past to correct that lmfao.
  16. Cornishvr6 isn't able to make it I believe... If we cannot get the extra car, it gives us more room to arrange our club display and also have the banner in a visible place I'll be bringing some flyers and business cards, I'm hoping new tax disc holders and stickers will have arrived by then too
  17. Hi mate. I had a lengthy discussion with Vince at Stealth Racing as I'm just about to install a new gearbox in mine thought is do the clutch at the same time as its an unknown mileage. There's Luk, Sachs and Valeo as standard options. I'm told release bearings go noisy on the Luk ones quickly and the quality of the Sachs clutch isn't what it used to be and get a number of issues a year or so later with them going faulty... It appears Valeo are the way to go now, not seen a single car come back with issues, I've just bought one at a cost of £132 delivered to my door from Stealth. Cheers. Pet
  18. Looking forward to seeing the in stand have we got the 5th car yet?
