    I will update this today as well as mention that its free to join the forum..... We are trying to promote "club membership" as opposed to a forum with a "premium membership" I.E doing more club activities, trips, run out days etc... and focus on general meets and events.

    yes please mate no problem with that.... also the business cards with our web address have arrived today so will be bringing these for distribution amoungst the team and show regulars so can slip them behind wipers of other VR's spotted at shows / out and about etc...

    HotGolf from ClubGTI builds them for about 500, I've just had stealth to do mine, but i supplied both gearboxes, new bearings, seals and ARP diff bolts.... I know know that I have a really strong gearbox, however like any second hand box, you just dont know the condition of it swings and roundabouts... not sure what the gear ratio's are like for the V5's though, but i highly recommend the 3.68 modification in a VR box...

    Just do a 3.68 final drive upgrade in your current VR6 box mate tried and tested and the VR6 engine loves it!

    he certainly knows his stuff mate! I was around his house last week collecting my 3.68 gearbox that he built for me as I couldnt get to the workshop before it closed ! hes a good man. my engine was lovely!!
