  3. Maybe it's time I dust off that life size cardboard cut out of me! If I had the spare cash to get the shows and pay get in I would mate like everyone else I've had make sacrifices and put my family first there's only so many pot noodles the kids will eat..
  4. I think that's a little unfair mate. Ive not had a VR on the road in over 3 years, had a baby and had 2 major operations if you must know. I'm still very much involved with the running of the club and website and have every faith in the event organisers and the VR6OC team doing a fantastic job off their own backs representing the club.
  5. We are getting there now. Just takes time to do it all properly I suppose
  6. No point running an event that most of the people who originally committed have dropped out for one reason or another and the general lack of interest in the event as a whole. This is the second event we have had to cancel due to people letting us down after provisionally saying they would come only to let us down at the 11th hour
  7. Very disappointing at the number of people who have dropped out days before the show..
  8. It failed the MOT... BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO well at least I know what needs to be done to get it finally on the road! It failed on: 2 x front to rear brake lines 1x passenger front brake line 1 x drop link Advisories on the following: 1x head light alignment Play on passenger wishbone excessive pressure build up in fuel tank Before the MOT I managed to replace these old things: with my lovely stainless ones: I've now replaced the 3 brakelines, all made out of genuine VW green steel, was a nice job to do as it goes which makes a change Fuel tank pressue issue was a trapped breather pipe, so

  14. cams and a schrick low 20's ok i say! you need to identify the fault codes, blue temp sendor can cause it to overfuel if its duff for example... Schrick head, 2.9 low comp bottom end, schrick 268 cams, 3.68 final drive, bmc, stealth ramap, 6 branch, de-cat, miltek exhaust from memory. start at the basics I.E addressing fault codes and a good service if not done already... if your worried about MPG then i wouldnt modify it any more
  15. my last VR6 was lucky to see 20MPG, it was heavily modified.... had it in single figures sometimes... what is your MPG ? you can look on your MFA!
  16. Hiya. No brainer. Bmc cda
  17. The blue wire taps into the green/black wire (pin #22) which is the rpm wire.
