You need to get VAG-COM / VCDS and run some logging minitoring the various sensors etc... and see what happens during that last 1,500 RPM. could be knock sensors retarding the map or anything really... you really need to look at the measuring blocks and analyse what is going on as opposed to just replacing parts -
any visible signs of leakage on the floor? put some cardboard under neath the engine to try and identify where it could be coming from... check to make sure your thermostat is functioning correctly and that there are no leakes on the thermostat housing etc... Also check the cap on the coolant bottle, sometimes the seal goes and it perishes, thus will bubble out etc... but also a stuck thermostat can cause that to happen when upto temp (are your fans working etc? What are your water temps like?).

Should have gone for the schimmel 263 / 268 group buy mate, we got them at £355 a set on the corrado's they have given +20BHP in a fair few corrados, I've ran schrick 268's and they do give you a bit more top end, complimented by my schrick, BHV and my 3.68 final drive.... but pound per BHP the schimmels win hands down and they are tried and tested.

Yes group buy is currently running and closes COP Today @ 5:30pm The price is £355 for either Schimmel Performance 263 / or 268's. Stealth Racing are also doing a deal on fitting and mapping which they are honouring for 6 months and you can split the costs.... Give Vince a call on 01926 812259 before 5:30pm to get on board... the cams are ready to ship after today, so will be a fast turn-around... SP cams go for £300 second hand so this is a true bargain.

Overflow to your header tank.. Common issue.. Either a new top hose.. Not cheap or get a gruven parts alloy T peice.

alot of people have tried it, but many found not to be reliable enough.. Personally you can't go wrong with a brand new beru coilpack.

You will probably find that the one or more of the lights will be illuminated, indicating an error.... probably a previous owner couldnt be bothered to fix a fault code and just simply took the light out!

I think you can move it forward, but not back.... there are companies on the net that can wind it back, but its not cheap for obvious reasons...

If you have access to VAG-COM id advise running it through the car... make sure that the ABS light comes ON and OFF... if it doesnt come on at all, id suspect a previous owner has removed / disconnected the bulb.. do you have any links for the advert for the car, or anymore information about it? year ? spec? etc...

vag-com cycles the ABS pump / valves... I think they are usually closed usually, so if your just using the peddle then it probably wont work follow the bleed prodedure from the bentley manual
