  1. Always plan for the worst case scenario When ever I plan to remove any bolts on the car that look rusty I apply plenty of rost off on a few days before and keep applying it until I'm ready to do the job... Usually it's worked it's magic and makes life alot easier

  4. Ok. managed to fit the ABS sensor and wrap some more loom in the engine bay Thursday night.... clocks are now back in.... so just need to see if it all works now !! still got more loom to wrap. quickly used up 1 role, but Ive replaced a lot of tape from the original loom left in the corrado... might have found out why my low coolant light was flashing too.... I found another plug that was on the 'old' corrado loom, so i suspect that now its plugged in it will work, if so i can cut the un-needed plug off the loom... fingers crossed! Pete
  5. its been a while since my last update... but rest assured, I've kept working on the OBD2 stuff... Got my ECU back with a raised limiter too! (Thanks Vince @ Stealth) fitted it all in, and it fired first flick of the key! Here's a complimentary video ]mF4k_KqHB6k First impressions.... so much smooother, almost worth all the pain of the conversion..... It wasn't without its problems though, and soon noticed the temp gauge wasn't working, and the aux water pump wasn't running and fans were not kicking in as they should... After looking at various wiring diagrams (thanks Dave and Vince @ Stealt
  6. Hi everyone. I have now enabled a new image handler on the website... It utilises something called 'fancy box' which is pretty cool as if the image is larger than your screen it will resize it on the fly, so viewing images on iPhone / iPad / desktop looks great! Another little cool thing is that it will allow you to view all images on the page you are viewing... this is pretty cool on build threads or a thread that contains a lot of photos... you can also use your scroll wheel on your mouse to view the previous / next image Have a play! let me know any issues... Here's a few example images
  7. I got Stealth to remove my imobiliser from my ECU following on my OBD2 upgrade for my Corrado. Also got him to tweak the limitor to that was it was when the OBD1 Corrado ECU was in.

  14. Lol how strange... I had exact same issues on my mk3 VR6... Really cold weather the windows would come down!! Even if I pressed the button to close they'd go down again! Problem went away when it warmed up! No good when it's snowing though. Never did get to the bottom of it as I wrote it off in the end

  16. Yeah.. as above, doesnt look that far out to be honest.... just looks to be a poorly made item.... Never had this issue on raceland manifolds, but they all pretty much the same anyway... Ive got dlea's old manifold on mine, just went straight on (raceland) but I dont know if he had to drill the holes out a little more prior to me owning it
  17. upload it to photobucket and link it into the thread mate, would make sense others can see it too
