  1. You cant i'm afraid... the old forum layout has been retired due to its age and didnt give any flexibility on customisation..
  2. As you have probably noticed, the forum has had some tweaks... Please feel free to provide some constructive feedback on things you like, dislike etc... It's a fluid layout, so will resize what ever your screen resolution / screensize / device is... so is optimised what ever you use.... It has a clean layout that is touchscreen friendly hency why things look a littler larger than before... Still need to tweak menu navigation, the logo and add a drop down to display the inbox / outbox / send message links oat the top of the page... Below is an example of how forum images will eventually displ

  4. Did you message Jim Potter like I suggested in reply to your chatbox message? I've spoken to him and im assured it has now been posted. Jim has some person problems which naturally takes priority over club duties, however I have now closed the online store until we are in a better position to offer a better service. Pete

  7. I've done some more tidying up today of the menus and stuff on the mobile site today. Should look a bit less cluttered. Had no Internet most of tonight so not done as much as I'd have liked! Any feedback?
  8. So the "mobile" version isn't optimized for small screens hmmm makes sense ! It's actually a full desktop theme that uses some clever stuff to scale down to iPads/iPhones etc... It's just that some of the extra stuff we have enabled on here isn't as friendly.... If you visit the forum on a mobile now the menu navigation is cleaner now.. Considering the last theme took over 4 months of work, I'm not doing too bad at the moment
  9. Still needs work yet guys. I'm using it on my iPad. It looks great.... But need to optimise on smaller displays.... And for desktop...
  10. it should resize for iphone, i think its because ive not set up the navigational stuff properly yet

  13. work in progress guys.... if you dont like it on mobile devices add ?e107mobile=off to the end of the web address currently the only way I can develop instead of taking the main site down
  14. In our early days to improve our rankings I bought out the VR6 club that ranked above us (club vr6) and redirected to our page as that page ranked number 1 when starting up for the word "vr6" now we are right up there. What I also did was put in 50 quid a month into google adwords so when specific key words this site was displayed at the top of google search results just to give us a boost... Also, check out google site map on google webmaster tools, tons of valuable information....
  15. Oh and use social networking sites such as Facebook / YouTube to generate hits google loves that sort of thing too... Facebook and YouTube is practically a free advertising platform. But depends what area your venture falls in...
  16. Google adwords and lots of dynamic content is what you need these days. Not many search engines use meta tags to that extent anymore... It's all about rich and Updated content... One of the reason I have new forum posts and the Facebook box on the front page as it always being dynamically updated and search engines love that

  18. run VAG-COM, it will tell you what the fault is, probably either; 1) dirty ABS speed sensor 2) knackered ABS speed sensor 3) ABS ring has not been put back on at all / or properly. ABS errors will usually clear after a short drive if everything is tickety boo so it wont be a case that theyve not cleared something...
  19. Go to the iTunes store and look for "djay" virtual decks for your iPhone / iPad. It's cool, you can scratch and fade in tracks set cue points, sync, bpm etc... Just uses your iTunes library, oh you can get the hardware for it too
