    Doh Tony. I hate messing with wheels / offsets and all that lark! Does my head in I've settled on the speedlines. 17's tends to upset the handling and tramlines a little. Gonna stick my 205/50/15's on from old wheels as they still look good but I might play with other tyres. Maybe 195/45/15's

    sooo, its either, these; 15" or 17" always preferred handling of 15 / 16" wheels, to be honest dont like handling of 17" wheels at least, not on my previous VR's but they DO look good!

    There's abosolutely no need to bump a topic twice in a day. If no one has any ideas then no amount of bumping will help. Personally I don't know what could be going wrong apart from loosing oil pressure. Is your oil pump operating correctly? I'm sure if anyone else can help, they will in due course

    If I were to bid on any of them it would be the speedlines... I do like the look of them. But not in White! Although someone on another forum has a set for sale, freshly refurrebed and powder coated....

    Make sure you get genuine VW seals!

    The gasket shouldn't have a lip. Is it a genuine gasket and seal you've bought from VW or one from a local motor factors?

    that seal looks fooked its easy to identify if the seals are knackered, they will be hard....

    There's locatIng lugs on the seal I got from VW, gasket is fairly straight forward. did my corrado with front end on, however there's alot of clearance
