  1. Cracking day guys. 5/6 turned up so not too bad. Weather was great and lots of lovely cars and things to do.
  2. The postcode I have from the website is WA16 6QN will get you close, it will be sign posted for traders / club displays...
  3. Haha. I stole it off the VWNW page [emoji106] wish I could say I've been busy polishing but in reality I just took it the car wash Still, is good enough, not looking likely I will have the engine bay open tomorrow as my attempts to fix the bonnet cable clip has failed so far! Which is a shame as it's one of the best bits under the bonnet. Will try again tomorrow in day light....
  4. Here is the club stand map guys: we are plot number 45 [emoji106] Come over and say hiya
  5. Worth a read if your travelling using this road http://www.itv.com/news/granada/update/2014-08-01/holiday-headache-as-m56-closes-near-manchester-airport/
  6. Last pass has now gone, full stand [emoji106] fingers crossed for no rain tomorrow - glad Dave has a gazebo. I'm looking to be there for around 8:30 - I'm aware there is some road works on the m56 if anyone is travelling that way - please allow for extra time for travelling, ensure your passes are on display by the time you approach mereheath lane as no pass will mean no entry. Looking forward to tomorrow guys hopefully we can get a midlands meet of regulars going off the back of this
  7. I put a "hella" one on my Corrado and it's highly recommended, got mine from http://www.radiatorshop.net
  8. Some good words there mate and they ring very true, if looked after the vr6 is a timeless car [emoji106] and as the saying goes " they don't build them like they used too! "
  9. Over 500 miles done so far, mostly covered in wales Been a real good week although came back earlier due to heavy rain flooding the camp site! I ended up buying a roof rack and box with taking 2 kids, 8 birth tent, the mrs and a puppy! Wasn't all trouble free though! Broke the bonnet release cable on the release mechanism so had to order this: http://www.gruvenparts.com/billet-corrado-hood-cable-clip/ and hopefully should be able to open my bonnet again doh! Also need a new bonnet latch as that has somehow got bent so need order a new one! Might also need a crank sensor too as sometimes
  10. If someone wants the pass for the last place it's yours, but you'll have to meet me before the show on Sunday as it's now too late to post it out. Yeah Dave gazebo will be ideal mate
  11. I'm 360 miles in so far, good so far! Should be on 500+ miles when I'm back from wales. Then oil change time. Silky smooth but broken the bonnet catch clip grrr so can't currently pop the bonnet
  12. I just need one more name here guys, if you want to join us and support the club please PM me your address ASAP I'm in wales on holiday with the last pass ready to post out first class post. It's a great day out for all the family, I'm even bringing my 4 month old puppy [emoji106] So come on guys let's make this a great day for the club!
  13. Still waiting for the address of mcpikie. So I'll open this up to a reserve now. I need to get these posted out by lunch time tomorrow as I'm on holiday until Saturday.
  14. 210 from an engine with light mods is pretty healthy mate. BMC's make a noticeable difference too
  15. It was off the dip stick every 300 miles mate, Vince said it wouldn't have lasted out the summer, there was loads of wear in bore 1 and 6 and some nasty piston slap. Was also way down on power too.
  16. All passes now ready to post guys! Hopefully mcpikie will let me know his address so I can get pass posted out tomorrow I'll take it with me on holiday to post from wales if not tomorrow can't wait to meet you all. Im all ready to go
  17. My 120k engine was nailed. It's obviously had a hard life, was using ALOT of oil and suffered some severe piston slap. Just had a full engine rebuild though, well sourced a 2.8 block and bored it up to a 2.9l and drives amazing now sounds completely different than before, even though I am running it in.
