    Justin, finally got the suspension fitted last week! Its fine and has improved both the looks and handling substantially IMO! Thanks again - now I have to get on and do the other bits ive had lying around for months! [ Edited ] [ Edited ]

    Hey guys, how do you wire the crossover unit? Ive had component speakers for a while now, but only fitted the main speaker in the door (front) and not bothered with the tweeter. Know im missing out on a bit of quality.

    Ive got a K+N 57i on mine - £90 I think. I love it!!

    Ive got a sony single disc in my van. Boy is it picky! Discs that play fine first time whatever condition they are in, in the pioneer multidisc I have in the vr, are a nightmare in it. As long as they are cleaned off and wiped from inside to out they are fine tho. Thats even the cheapest cdr's from comp fairs! [ Edited Wed Dec 24 2003, 03:10PM ]

    Ive only had mine for 3 months but the difference really is noticeable. Its definately smoother and more responsive in the lower rev range and the noise is just fantastic if you like that. What the long term effects will be I have had no experience of but surley if it is looked after and cleaned regularly it should stay as a great mod in my opinion :-)

    Sound from a k+n is tops and cheaper option than the bmc if your a little skint from the insurance :-)

    Think I agree with Pete on this one - the light surrounds seem to stick out too much on those morettes!

    I have to say, I was very disapointed with club vr6 - promised so much but as you say is deserted. Please keep this going, we need a site with good info and friendly peeps which is exactly what seems to be happening here

    Too many things to start listing! Pete im after a set of quad headlights, seen a few cheaper sets at swg, gcc etc; are they any good or is it best to go for morette or the like???

    Oh dont worry - the vr (yes it is!) is going nowhere, wanted one for years and am now extremely happy with it. Just have a business opportunity that includes a van to think about!

    Im also after some help in this field. I want to lower my car but dont particularly want to spend £100's of pounds as it may soon become more of a weekend drive. (Company van may soon be a possibility). Ive heard conflicting arguments as to wether springs only is a worthwhile option. Basically I want to lower the car for looks and a bit of stiffness rather than all out cornering ability! 1. Is this a worthwhile road to go down? 2. If so, what kind of money should I expect to pay for them including fitting? 3. Any suggestions what type/manufacturer or where to go? Thanks in advance for any hel
