whats the differance between the zymol wax and autoglym stuff, i normally use the range of autoglym products, green bottle then red then the gold one. but it does take all day to do, have now started to use the show n shine spray by autoglym just before going out, works real well. Is the zymol wax that good, do you use it every time? is it worth giving it a go?
i brought some for my GTi they were about 4 quid each from VW, then i crashed the car and forgot to take them off when i went to get bits and bob off it, doh
mine does the same RAC picked it up and said it may be a problem, brought the car any way and she is sweet, waste of a 100 quid in my opinion, been through a VW service and they found nothing.
83k and its started idle funny in traffic when warm, but i'm scaried to clean the idle valve, any body know of any good (easy to understand) engine manuals?
i've got the koni/eibach with eibach antiroll bars and standard 15" wheels and they will shake your fillings out and make CDs skip on a bad road, but on good roads they are great, had many a vectra SRi try and follow me in to roundabouts.
my K&N fell off too after about 4-5 months, man was the VR heavy to steer with no power, and it is a little egg fryed (rice), sorry basmati when overtaking. thinking of changing it, any suggestions?
Hey there people, Have notice that sometimes when hot and in traffic my VR idles a bit odd, it sort of fluctuates, not by much but enough to notice it, I have a K&N 57i (without a cold air duct) and a supersprint zaust. Any clues? (should I be worried) is it because its just sucking in too much warm air?
any one from cambridge here? only i was merrily driving along last night when a fellow Mk3 driver steamed past me, was wondering if it was a VR turbo, it did sound very cam-y.

same question really any good pics of how they ran a cold air duct from sort of need the horn to the filter (I?ve got a 57i). I?ve got a 97 Highline with air con too. Seen afew comments about removing a carbon canister? Have UK cars got these? What do they do? Are they needed? And last but not least, any1 know much about the piper viper kit went to a local rude boy shop (made sure no one saw me) and the bloke there said it was good not cheep 260ish I think, he said it was good on his calibra (near laughed when he said the 'C' word), any comments on the viper kit?
