    7lbs on the flywheel does make a difference coz its not the actual weight loss on the car that counts but the reduction in energy the engine wastes just revolving the fly - Id think it does reduce torque coz it makes the car rev more freely. Myself i'd only have it with a Schrick as this would counteract the expected torque loss

    Ali Im surprised Adrian Flux were more expensive - they've always been cheap for me tho mine actually cost less with mods - suspension,air filter, zorst - than as standard! When I got my VR it was standard so I said it was modded! I was only jumping the gun by a month or so!

    I could be wrong but the VR6 does have a low sump & its a big engine so wouldn't the dipstick be longer than on other Golfs? Always seems to surprise me with the length of it!

    The misfire could be a number of things - fuel relay is often a cause although mine was due to a faulty camshaft sensor. If you are losing water & oil, check for leaks first as I've found most of these are down to seals or hoses rather than the head gasket (this is on my previous cars btw!)

    I've taken out the cold air feed to my Ram Air & it feels more responsive! Weird eh?

    I'd love to do it but I don't think my car is up to standard yet & I'd not wanna bring shame on the club at our first major outing! On that subject, we should have club t-shirts! 8o)
