  1. Huge difference! My 16v was 170bhp & 149lb/ft. My APR Mk4 turbo was 172bhp & 217lb/ft The Mk4 was more responsive (cos of the torque) but the VR6 is a much easier car to drive. Smooth at all revs, steady at low revs, a monster above 4000rpm! Well happy!!
  2. Finally sold my Mk4 turbo and picked up a nice 93 K VR6 this afternoon.... First impressions are really good car for the money. 1 question.... what's the normal running temp of the car? Mine shows fairly normal on the gauge, but if you use the trip computer, it shows anywhere between 98 and 102... is this right????? Cheers happy Mike 8o)
  3. my *guess* is forget the M3's! I am looking at one of them (the 3.0 ones) and they are absolute rockets. Never driven a supercharged VR^ so couldn't swear to it...
  4. I know - but I had been trying to sell it for about 6 months!!
  5. they were 7.5x17 with 5mm spacers on the front to clear the brakes someone got a bargain when I sold it for £3700
  6. Aberdeen too... saw a site sticker on the back of what I am assuming to be Gusto's car today when I was leaving the gym Used to have a Mk3 16v, sold it for a Mk4 turbo and have been made redundant so am trying to sell the Mk4 and am considering a VR6 instead... Attached is my old 16v... no idea why I sold it now [ me_small.jpg ]
