i find, when forming glass to a particular shape, to line what ever you are doing with loads of masking tape first. its really cheap to buy and peels off easily after. then a thin layer of vaseline so you can remove the glass from the panel after easier. start with glass matting in the thinner type and after 2 or 3 layers, switch to the thicker matting. make sure the glass goes off before removing it. best to do one panel at a time leaving the set ones in situ so it all bonds together, otherwise you will get in an awful mess. once you have the basic 3 sided shape set off(back,strut and boot
