  1. none of mine either, but then again, i was a little late! so unlike me! lmao or is it just another binbag conspiracy to hide my car from the hoards of admiring fans?
  2. no doubt a quick sniif of the pinkies will do, sweaty for just right, and shite for not quite enuff charmin!

  4. well donr for finding that one! had me in stitches for ages!
  5. in your dreams people! i going to be hot on the trial on both these two by e38 show at the latest! rock on tommy!
  6. i'm giving up now i think! between you and justin i got no hope of mine looking this good! maybe i should sell!
  7. i'm a little sceptical tbh! some of the footage seems a little, chopped to me? and 500+ bhp in a golf, looking at the track on the rear i would like to think its 4wd, as there is no way on earth it would outpace some of the machinery there on track, it would just spin off the track sideways! more needs to found out about this machine, and waht sort of spec its running!
  8. maybe the hall sender as andrew says, but i would think the map is not helping, bearing in mind, its a tad coincedental that at the 4k switching point of the schrick vgi, its becomes a problem. without stating the obvious i would have a check with vince first of all to see if there is and correlation in this theory! people running chargers with maps and removing them due to probs can still run the cars but off boost or probs will occur, the same could surely be expected of car mapped to produce some 30lbs/ft of torque more than standard and suddenly have it removed from the procedures?
  9. the counter weight is the only thing i can think of that would make such a noise there but thats in the engine bay! it may sound like "sucking eggs", but try not to be so eager to jump the amber light and brake more progressively! does it make the noise wen moving away in first from a normal stop?
  10. they get the carer to check?
  11. exactly my point andrew. a well sorted vr will have no probs with a civic type r. there are two at my place of work, and one just cant get enuff of being wupped by my "old mans" family wagon on the way into work some mornings!
  12. i trounce one on the way to work with monotonous regularity! can be quite a quick car, having driven one, providing you keep it above 5k rpm in all gears, otherwise you may as well get out and push! nothing really starts to happen untill about 5k in the engine and its a pain in the arse to drive round town, a plastic pig would overtake it if its in the wrong gear and below 3k! dont like the revvy engine, certainly wouldn't trounce a mildly tuned vr, doubt thay would trounce a standard one tbh. the gear change is something else all together tho, beautifully crafted, slick and just where it ne
  13. as pete says, check around the thermo housing! sounds like something thats expanding with heat soak and opening up a crack or hole thats allowing fliud to escape!
  14. thats a good price tbh, but i doubt that includes camber/wheel alignment as well. you will need to add this to your budget as well as it will wear your tyres out if its a long way out, or worse, throw you off the road in extreme cases!
  15. leave it on unless you only use the car in the dry!
  16. is that a mocal oil cooler i see poking outta your front bumper intake there binbag? nice pics tho, and those wheels look like the need a good polish to me!
  17. oh, and the car looks sweet as well dude!
  18. get up to malvern next weekend then dude, meet some of us and get a taster of the show season upcoming!
  19. should be okay, but any lower may cause rubbing with rear passengers!
  20. i'm going anyway so will be glad to attend the vr6oc stand! may have talked mk.3 anni into it as well, but only time will tell! work on him guys!
  21. so you're looking at 1800 tokens min just for arch flaring,a6 handles, smooth bumpers? and that is without the rest of the car being touched? seems alot to me, i know he's good there, but christ, i know of bodyshops that will do as good a job round my way for less! a featured name, is apparently, worth its weight in gold!
  22. looks like it takes a big hit that throws it into the air and spins it round. am i right in thinking that you also have to pay for any damage incurred to the barriers around the ring in an "off". and you have to pay or sort your own way off if your car is beyond repair or undriveable?
