    the oil has been checked and replaced now but it has made no difference? guess its box out and have a look!

    Posting for a friend, posted in the transmission section but only had one response just seeing if i have any more luck in here Just picked up a 97 golf VR6 on saturday, my 1st VW, and it was running fine until this morning. Theres a hum coming from the gearbox side when in gear and on power. Dipping the clutch/coming of the accelerator silences it. Im gonna stop by halfords and pick up a 17mm allen key to check the 'box oil level tonight. Was just wondering if theres anything else i can look for while im under the car, or if anyone knows of other things it could be? This is my daily ride, wi

    i've just finished my mk2 vr (obd2) and it is hunting really badly. It starts and dies so you have to hold the revs slightly for a couple of seconds, then it will idle ok! if you hold the revs around 2k it hunts really bad and does the same when you drive jolting the car but if you rev it's ok. When you come to junctions and stop somtimes it will die. i have been told that it could be the throttle body? if it is how long do you have to drive it before it teaches itself again? and what sort of driving town or motorway does anyone else have any ideas?

    i thinking about selling my highline, i can't decide whether to sell it with all the bits on it or whether to put it back to standard and sell the parts seperate? (i still have all standard parts) what do you reckon?

    yeah fk like the ones on mine! sorry to butt in on your post but if anyone know's how to wire these up so just the angel eye's cum on side lights would be appreciated!! cheers

    I bought a set off pi shocks and springs, and the shocks are black and the springs red so that could be wot they are?

    yeah that was me with the mulberry highline guess you noticed how high the back was!! here are the pics of the car wot do you reckon?

    yeah thats wot i thought about it having to settle down but if it is that then the front is going to need to settle as well and that will mean that the splitter will touching the floor! i compared it to nickbee at junction 29 meet and his sat a lot lower and his was only 40mm drop! i'll try and post some pics and you can see how stupid it looks!

    i have just fitted 60mm lowering springs to my car and the front has dropped and is sitting very nicely but the back has not moved at all it doesn't look any different from when i had my 40mm springs on! has anyone else had this problem or have any ideas of wot it is!

    went and looked at these wheels today found out that they do with and without the black inserts!!! decisions decisions!

    i just wondered whether any one has a pic of them on a vr or any mk3 cos i can't seem to find one? I'm thinking about buying these for my mulberry highline wot do you reckon?
