nonono, no more will i go with VAG, went to the darkside Vauxhall Astra Got myself an 04 GSi, 2.0 16v Turbo in saphire Black(i like to cleeeean). How much fun are turbo cars went to r/r day on saturday of last, standard cars getting 208-214bhp, 230-240lbft!!! my old vr had the longlife system including sports cat, yes very good job in all, but lost low end torque and overall performance. loud.... mmmm yes

works out to be around 163bhp/ton if my calcs are correct... 265/1630kg 162.5bhp/ton. 250bhp golf= 250/1225kg= 204bhp/ton...... boom shakalaaa will be interesting... anoraks beast vs S4 320/1225.... 260bhp/ton nippy

gaz man how much wonga you got have a look on the stealth site, they do it i think? Also reconmend the BMC induction kit m8ty, also from stealth. If u do gearbox you might as well put in the quaiffe LSD and uprated clutch. Then supercharge it.... i know your gonna

2.0 turbo.... of course. Im looking at the astra GSI 2.0 Turbo. s fancy a new car you see. Been to lots of vauxhall shows cos me m8 is bit of a mian dood in the vauxhall world. Every time ive been its been a case of mmmmmmm that GSi looks nice Another m8 of mine got a gsi too, hes running 260bhp with just a few mods. Most expensive being the amd remap. Still want one But the vr is still so lush.... gonna be hard to let go of it

well my badboy is A ok, robbing fuckers trying to get me to redo my head. One of the symptoms of a head gasket is warm air through the heater not hot..... get it checked m8ty.

took it else where today, the other chap said there was no problem. No water in the oil, no header tank overflowing. No problems.... he recons airlock from the draining of the system. Also perhaps a dodgy header tank cap, just to wash it out.

umm thats worse i do believe! I took my motor down to another garage, and they said it was ok. No headtank action today. He said it was prolly an airlock from removing that pipe. But how can you argue with the chemical test kit??? All the pumps are fine no problems, and today its been running outside of my house for about 45mins and its still ok, no water leaking! Im not losing any water, not gaining any oil! It can only go up or down cant it, water-oil way down to the sump, water- piston up to res tank! what to do??

i saw my leaky head ages ago, but was told the above, but looked again yeserday and its pretty bad, running down onto the pulley wheel.

the header tank stinks of exhaust, and i dont really dont wanna drive it anywhere else to check it otherwise due to the risk of fooking it up. Would the big oil stain on the side of the block be a clearer indication. Its fresh oil too

he didnt do compression m8ty's said it might not show up, the water pump is new, but dunno about Aux. What ever its pissed me off enough to want to get rid of it
