  1. Remove all the jubbings in the boot hatch, ie wiper and lock. Ram that full of sound Deadening(S/D) carefull not to break them placcy clips...more rattles. Stick draught excluder around the number plate. S/D the boot floor and all the sides, places you cant get into(especially on the L/h/s) spray foam filler in there. My sunroof winder cover is my main problem, as in a spot above my head. Apart from that not alot else you can do... my front wipers vibrate if I turn mine up
  2. just buy the adapter for the car, for the kenwood H/U Look on the adapter and it will obviousl Look at the adapter and you will figure out the wiring for the car, one block will have Constant live(normally RED) Then switching live(yellow) Negative(black) Amp remote(blue) Tel Mute(yellow and Black) Orange(another +) Then plug it into the loom of the car and note which is what. The other block will be all the speaker cables, easy really

  5. got hold of a later set of vr clocks that start at 0mph. So no adjustment needed. Just un plug the new ones and plug into the old ones Im sure the clocks calibrate themselves, so putting newer ones instead of the moving the old ones should do the trick
  6. !£!£!!%$%56arding needles wont come off anyhow! Do u recon, if i pince the stem underneath the needles, with a a pair of bottle nosed pliars i could force the needle to where i want it to go??? Looks gay at the mo with 3 dials lookin mint and the other one plain jane!
  7. custom boots build in mine with 2xJL audio badboys, only trouble is the weight distribution. It fooked up the handling and POwer/weight ratio. Its like having 25kg+ sat in the boot all the time But yes as Pete says, music sounds ace

  9. nope, just had the whole jobber off, it was just slightly dirty inside. Replaced it and it was hunting lke a div untill i turned it off, and restarted. Wonder y it does that?

  11. im worried that if I take off my needles, and put um back to where I want them they are gonna be well out? How do they calibrate themselves anyhow? If I drop my needles down over the pin, is the final resting place of the needle absolute zero MPH? If it is i will drop it down that far and pull it off, put the needle at 10mph and push it back on, on my new dials this should then read zero shouldnt it?? My cars speedo starts at 10mph, not 0, new dials start at 0 (same place as the 10mph is on my old dials). Help pls
  12. it wasnt running perfect..... didnt like sounding like a pleb everytime i stopped. Vrooom vroooom vrooom.... wtf!!! So i sorted it now, but it has the tendancy to drop real low now, but it does pick back up. Has stalled once since i done it, but i think it was resorting itself out
  13. just a few quickies, when exactly is the valve fully open, or fully closed? What direct effects does a dodgy valve have?? Will the valve cause the car car to run rich/lean? Will it directly effect the performance of the engine overall??
  14. will the diagnostics point out if the sensors are faulty or not??? mine is under powered but dont know y? I thought it was to do with loss of backpressure from my exhaust. But it just seems real slow... any ideas?
  15. gear box is made of shite grade ally i bet?? ally jobs at work we get can corrode and leave crappy black marks on the jobs in less than 20mins.... its nutz
  16. started her up tonite after work, and she was idling slightly higher than normall, about 1k, it was abit cold so i thought ok. Drive it down the road, Up the gears to 4th now I became aware that I didnt even need any throttle, the car was driving itself at about 1500rpm. Weird... Ive had it before. Keep driving cos I cant pull over anywhere, back off the throttle and it takes about 3secs before the car backs off. Now get to the traffic lights and the things idling like a div.... up to 1500, down to 500, back up, down, up... etc. Sound like a bellend sat there with a loud exhaust reving up
  17. or pull it out of the trottle bodie an stick a bung in the open hole... might bring up a fault code tho??
  18. it will only go in one way i thought. when i took mine out and relaced it all(the cartridge) just make sure all the pipes are on the ends and bingo..... i set the sunroof flush with the run of the roof. To low it will leak.
  19. i got a viper!!! it is no way as vocal as a cone, works well, not tried the bmc but i might. If u like loadsa crap in your induction get a viper as it doesnt filter that great at high revs, but it flows really well. Upto u really.
  20. thats is a v.good point. Play around with the exit holes located in the front hinge area. Rubber thingys, they clog real easy
