  1. what number is the + on the big block connector going to the lights? My dials have to connect to this, so as soon as i switch on my lights the dials turn on
  2. pads might need doing but the sensor light has not yet come on. Ill do discs, pads, hoses, brake fluid and bearings all at once i think.
  3. pull off one of your heater knobs, its the plastic coloured thingy behind, to carry the light onto the face of the dial.
  4. wont work because bloody exhaust drowns it out! drive shaft bearings?? if i weave left right ill hear it more on the left turn

  7. the plastic itself is green, and i need clear to make them blue with a blue led.
  8. look at your heater switches/dials, are they black(unless youve changed them) with white indicators on the ends??? Yes... now pull the dials off and what colour are the plastic light conductor things behind???? They should all be green, some US golfs are clear, I need to get my hands on some of these clear conductors, anyone got any ideas where i can get them from??? I NEED THEM, blue interior with green heater dials pffffft
  9. the cover plate on the disc is bent could be that, looks like the garage undid the track rod without tacking off the wheel and bent the plate behind the disc, ive tried pushing it back but its springy steel and comes back Where can i get new ones from!?
  10. as title says, it grinds more when i turn left then when i go right. I thought it was that shim between the disc and suspension (cover plate thingy) cos its been bent. Thought it might of been pushing onto the wheel. But its not that. U think its wheel bearings?
  11. use my alkaline aluminium cleaner from work.... works a treat! leave it too long and it starts to etch
  12. do u find by having wacking great subs in the boot, fucks up the handling of the car?? mines never been right after my install.

    it can be done, trouble is no one makes 3mm 12v leds. It will be a pain to put resistors in there, shall i go red or not bother Stereo is illuminated blue, car is blue so i wanted to carry this on through.
  14. i had that the other day, think its dodgy contacts on the switch, turn it all the way off, then try again
  15. sounds very much like youve said an oil pressure problem. Could be new oil pump time

    heres one for you.... is it possible to change all the green leds in the car to blue ones?? same for the bulbs, ie heater dials. i want all the door switches an stuff to be blue, anyone had a bash yet?
  19. the trigger has to be wired to the drivers door, if u lock the door manually they all lock, if u do the same on the passenger side only that door will lock. As for the windows up, it should do.... its suposed to be a full closure alarm as standard. Perhaps summit is buggered in the lock? U tried doing it from the passengers side? anyone else???
  20. u prolly could get a pd130 now for 10k or get astra coupe turbo or GSi(Turbo), clio cup? So many to choose from.
  21. block off the one going into the throttle body. otherwise u be sucking in air unmetered.
  22. is it ok to dangle the fuel tank pipe down the inside of the arch? Also how u get it off anyhow? Will it be a fail point on the mot?
  23. seen it being fixed on a y reg polo, all u do is allign up a wheel nut hole with the sensor and wack it out with a screw driver. nice un easy t replace then. dunno if it same on the vr6??
