    Thanks for the info, I'll give Gwent VW a call & see how much they're going to cost me. Maybe they'll be able to advise me on the offset. I dont want to ruin the handling..... Cheers again

    Hey all! After much deliberation I've decided to buy another Golf VR6 & I'm after some Kerscher wheels in the size stated above. I've two qustions really: Anyone know where I can get them? What offset would i need? I know I'm gonna have to get the arches pulled & rolled but was wondering in anyone knew what offset i'd need to really fill the arches? Cheers Jamie

    Greetings all, I had my car ('96 Golf VR6) serviced about 3months ago, but the interval indicator on the trip meter has just flashed up IN01 which i take to mean interval 1 service needed. As i have just had this done does anybody know how to re-set the indicator? Any help much apreciated. Regards Jamie.

    I got a set for £200 of ebay, they weren't refurbed but they are mint. Just deciding wether to put them on or not, they are putting speed bumps on my road & i think i'll need the extra clearance the 17's give.

    I've got an halfords one too, it takes two people to use it. One to lift the car from one of the arches & the other to position the jack. Can't get the VW one to locate on the sills properly now & it's only lowered 40mm.

    I got the silva tek ones & they cost £22 for 2. They give out a brighter orange flash than the orange ones i had before, just a bit expensive.

    I only average about 32mpg on long runs, but then again i can't turn down races wiyh all these rep mobile tw*ts & the little boy racers in they're corsa/paxo/nova etc lol

    Anybody know if the 312mm conversion will fit behind porsche design 90's? Need better brakes but just bought the design 90's so they'll have to fit behind them. :?

    I have some angel eyes on my golf that i got from inters & they already have indicators in them. All you've got to do is connect the wires that come out of the new light units to the existing indicator wires, then you can smooth the bumpers. Just haven't got round to doing it yet.

    OOPS! I bets thats gonna be fun lol. At least you'll have a unique car, looks like you'll have to become one of these "DIY Mechanics"

    I've noticed the fan kicks in all the time on mine, but when you look at all that engine packed in that little engine bay & felt the heat it produces it's a good job it does or it'd all go BOOM! lol

    Nice brum mate, I've just bought some edition 90's for mine. 6" wide at front, 8" wide at the rear. 3 black golfs with edition 90's. Looks like we're starting a trend. lol

    So would i be better off with 205/45/16's on the rears then? If it still catches the rear arches after they have been rolled i'll take the back seats out, then my mates will have to get taxi's! lol

    Geastb, what tyres are you running? I was thinking of 195/45/16 on the 6x16's & 215/45/16 on the 8x16's. Does this sound about right?
