    id say the positive is wired to the ignition and when u turn the key off it loses its 12v supply

    im not much for the new golf or polo tbh the last polo gti had it spot on for me and the mk iv r32 was just lush imho 2 of the best lookin normal cars r the st200 and st220 in blue (runs and puts flame suit on)

    DONT get 2nd hand headgasket or chains/guides id get the work done but look for somewhere cheaper myself and id deffo get the chains done while the head is off just my tupence worth

    mine sounds WAAAAAAY better than a civic imho it growls and snarls at any revs on load

    type rs r quick because of the daft gear ratios perfectly suited to the engine super short gearing stick a ctr box on a vr engine and it would destroy the civic until 130 mph when the vr would hit the rev limiter in 6th!!

    iv had a play with 3 ctrs and slowly gone away from all 3 up the same hill and over 60mph tbh im tottaly convinced my vr6 is a good match for most if not all mordern hatches the only 1 which thouroghly beat was a focus rs which a suspect (have no way of proving) was chipped as it caught me very quick lol about the best comparison i can make is santa pod my best ever is 14.7 average being 15.1-15.2 i checked a civic forum and it put 14th on their n/a tuned ctr all time list!!! a know of only 1 mk5 gti at the pod and i think it got mid to high 15s with a best of 15.4 again not sure on this

    that was the best handling car thing he did richard burns was in it they said the vr6 was a grandads car lol from what iv heard about stock suspension i cant disagree the 106 gti came 2nd or 3rd behind the ferrari 550
