    what do u mean by rebuild mate? has it had rings and rehoned bores? if so did you run it in right if your engines helthy u need to get a boost gauge to prove how much boost is getting to your engine

    iv had both and the r is basically more of the same power wise the r is a fair bit stiffer suspension wise though the 4mo is a hippo in comparison

    yeh its a daily driver 320 bhp 275 lb ft its at the reasonable ie reliable limit for stock compression had no probs at all with it as jake says i think its luck of the draw i know my engines good ps its for sale btw

    i use aquamist im still on stock compression to its ok for 12psi but wouldnt go any higher i thought 10 psi was stage 3?

    i run 12 psi on mine (stage 4??) with water injection it works fine no danger of damedgin anythin but it does get a bit toasty it does lose power through heatsoak if i was doin it again id personally get an intercooler or charge cooler if i could afford it having said that i did my fastest times at summer fest when it was red hot and the inlet manifold was absolutely roasting lol

    corado box fits but the shift weight wont and you cant use the golf weight

    how did u go on with disabling the haldex? iv heard bad things about turning it off

    ah ok mate the reason i ask is i want a set of good brakes for my 4mo/r32 but they need to fit behind 17"s

    could you give me plenty of info on the brakes mate? are you running 17"s ?

    have you got a boost gauge mate? (belt slip will show up) id be VERY wary of driving it with them figures somethins a long way from being right youv no idea whats goin on with the fuelling could be seriously lean or rich (lean will melt pistons etc rich will cause black smoke and clogged plugs which in turn will cause a missfire

    have you got the correct injectors in for the chip? sounds like massive overfuelling

    no lol what size are the disks?

    its got 4 mo brakes atm 312mm and theyr rubbish not even good enough with 240 hp lol i know very little about brakes what actually fits?? disk size i think i can go upto 334 mm
