  3. jay il add weight to petes side mate mine was around 215-220 bhp and was a shade quicker than r32s dont forget the r32 weighs over 1500 kg and has more tranny loss
  4. if you mean what i think you do then its a bit of an odd question mate you could get more torque at the wheels without touching the engine at all if you fit a lower final drive in the gearbox (3.68 seems the favourite) this will increase acceleration in every gear as will increasing enginwe power forced induction gives the most bang per buck by miles turns a vr into a genuine porsche slayer

  7. i class torque as power i know the diffrence between torque and bhp i didnt know you could measure the inlet temp id love a gauge for that but alas i doubt its possible it brings me back to my main question where can i get a reasonable i/c or cc for not too much money (rules schimmel out)

  9. mine makes 320 bhp on a nice cool day heatsoak is a nightmare it must lose loads of power my problem is i dont need the full upgrade i just need the i/c setup
  10. cc is very expensive and once the water gets warm its less effective vf claim 315 bhp 270 lb ft running 10 psi intercooled
  11. where in this country sells the intercooler setup for a v9f? i went out in mine this morning and holy shit it was rapid in the cold air it was dry and still started scrabbling/spinning AFTER it got to 50 mph ish it really felt quicker than it has been
  12. id give the s3 the edge tbh its a bit more power and a bit less weight than an r32 which is a bit quicker than a stock vr

  15. Yep. When it comes to low-down torque, there is no substitute for extra CCs. If you want your VR to go just like an R32, I'm convinced that this would be the way to do it. Pete is right though, the engine is only half the story. A lower final drive helps matters enormously on the mk3 VR. niiice and i vouch for petes its damn quick for n/a took me till around a ton to pull away from him thansk to that fd and schrick (both of which i really want lol)
  16. im running 12 psi 320 bhp 275 lb ft and if anything my mpg went UP slightly it works out at 28 mpg over the last 1100 miles (300 of that was holiday where i averaged 37 mpg!) it avareges between 25-28 round town overall im really impressed with it i beleive the reason is its so light on the throttle you still end up using about the same amount of fuel to create the same amount of power its only if you boot it that the mpg jumps off a cliff but then you already know that lol my advice GET IT DONE you wont regret it
