  1. anybody know how long the v9 goes between servicing? im pretty sure the bearings are starting to grumble a touch on mine how easy/hard is it to A get the bearings and B fit them? where do i get the bearings or get it done in the uk??

    anybody else drooling over this? if theres enough intrest we should make a club maybe make a decal of some description advertising the club? we should all have at least 1 rado vr lol
  6. u wont notice any heat soak mate its all about the noise bmc cda is probably the best kit though
  7. is it from a camcorder? windows movie maker gives a good few encoding options
  8. im watchin the vid now looks very neat mate but wheres the sound? The original is 350MB, so I had to resize it. I tried a couple of bits of software to re-encode it, but neither could find the audio track. You're not missing much though. With the CVT gearbox, you just hear a constant 4000rpm the whole way round. The rattle just goes a little quieter on the brakes! There's a little tyre squeal here and there too If you reckon you can get it under 100MB and keep the sound, then I'll send you the original. Interestingly, You Tube says the video should be under 100MB and under 10 minutes.

  11. you should be close to 200 bhp with that lot but it is deffo advisable to get a remap thats alot for the stock ecu to cope with
  12. i got a compression test today with an endoscope down the bores to see where the oil is goin (only smokey on overrun) results were 176-179 on 5 cylinders and 1 just made 175 i guess thats psi?? the bore with 175 had a cpl of light scratches from piston slap but not at all bad for 107k does the comp sound ok? valve stem seals have been replaced he strongly suggested valve guides does this sound likely? also i remember somebody else having the same or simoiler problem so this is a suggestion for them to

  14. my gearbiox is stock its not impossible by any means but i really want a lower fd and a proper diff
  15. i beleive the angle is diffrent because the pistons dont move in line with the conrods they are offset to allow a big enough gap at the bottom of the stroke so the conrods are a diffrnet angle (probably 15 degrees) to the 10.6 segrees of the pisttons
  16. the actual mechanicals of the engine are the same its the electronics and throttle body thats diffrent

  18. iv had a goosy at that mine qactually looks quite nice on the track even though it BADLY needs a respray i can see the diffrence in the work im starting to put into it it gives me hope lol
  19. i have a similer problem but mine doesnt really matter what rpm im doing if i go from a higher throttle to a lower throttle its sometimes quite jerky makes it a real git to drive quick and smooth
  20. i have a 4 bar pump from a corrado what are they rated upto power wise??
