not much to see realy hes claiming a well loked after 16v will keep up with a ropey vr6 and i agree hed never be quicker but he could get close enough

deffo get a level led you dont wanna run out and not know it it could damage the pump for a start iv got a passat 5l washer bottle in the boot lol

iv seen 132 on the clock in 4th every vr will hit the limiter in 4th gear but theres no chance in hell of hitting 0-60 in 3.1 with normal fwd open diff gearbox no matter how much power u stick up it

is your vr running well?? its deceptivly quick as the torque builds gradually as opposed to a turbo (included turbo diesel) uv got nothing then WALLOP you get maximum torque in 1 big lump then it tails off from there

the vr does indeed come alive over 70 mph but its not bugger all to do with weight the vr really isnt that heavy imho its the looooooooong gearing that kills acceleration a bit on a vr at low speeds

yep 204 bhp about the same torque 4 wd and still slower than a vr to 60!!
