    if its just te selector unit its an easy fix as its a seperate unit on top of gearbox rather than interbal part (dont know how much they are new)

    I'm no audio expert but how is amplifying a crap set of speakers going to make them sound any better?! In my experiences running a half decent set of components from the head unit will sound a million times better than amplifying a crap set of standard speakers yep agree with binliner iv done it i had stock speakers running from a good head unit then a ran them off a half decent amp there was a night and day diffrence then i bought infinity reference components which were obviously alot better i then decided to test it out so i ran stock speakers off the amp and good speakers from the head

    alot of ppl have removed the blanket me included seems to lower temps a bit iv often wondered about reducing heat soak into the inlet mani but how would u stick the wrap to the bottm??

    iv bought a air/fuel ratio gauge but dont know which wire i connect the gauge to? where does the lambda wiring go ie in the engine bay to the ecu??

    CV joints? My old Rover used to do that around the company car park. Then one day it shattered completely and destroyed the half shaft. TG thanks for the suggestion and sorry for the thread hijack

    my rear bearings are knackered causing that noise but im gettin really odd creaky kinda noises coming from the front end worse when goin 1 mph with steering lock on any ideas?

    not to often no i do alot of cold mileage work is 20 mins away so no throttle or revs till oil hits 76 :-p i tend to drive normally with the odd blat i have had it down to 15 ish though hehe

[/quote'] positive iv even filled it drove round then refilled it to check its accurate and yep its pretty much spot on you dont really use any more fuel with a charger if you drive it the same because you make the same power as before but using less throttle to do it (using about the same amount of fuel in the process) the only reason itd use more is the extra weight and the parasitic load on the engine (same as aircon) if you stonp on th

    my mfa is showing 39 mpg but i have to knock 40% off for the big injectors so it works out at a bit over 23 which isnt too bad for a 300 hp vr hehe

    i have 195/50/15 t1 s and get mild understeer but its easy enough to turn it into lift off oversteer if your front tyres are brand new they take a little while to settle in and it could be down to mixing diffrent types front and rear its a bad idea imho as diffrent tyres behave diffrently in diffrent conditions ie u may get understeer at low speed but they may turn into oversteer badly at higher speeds you never know
