    autocar (i think) did a test with an obd1 vr and escort cossie when they came out 0-30 mph the cossie wasted the vr for obvious reasons but suprisingly from 30 mph onwards the vr either equalled or beat the escos

    heres a cpl of vids 1 is in my car with camera wedged in the headrest haha i was racing a 320 ish bhp seat leon i did a deliberatly cautious run didnt go wot till 3rd gear (if u listen carefully u can hear it) and changed gear slowly and short shifted into 2nd and 3rd i ran a 14.3 the leon ran 14.6 iirc he dropped off boost at the start get the sound turned up http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v178/eatthis/?action=view¤t=303bhpgolfonboard.flv this 1 is george in his scoob racing me im getting the oil temp up a bit before the run as usual he wastes me off the line and it takes me 3 attempts

    i was harrasing my mates scooby hehe my gear linkage is pants so i could never find 3rd gear at the 1st attempt due to this i couldnt break 13 secs i was running 102-105 mph terminals though i got a 14.0 2 14.1s and 2 14.2s amongst the crap a tvr griffith 500 (5l v8) did me by .03 secs due to the linkage my terminal was .3 mph quicker lol ps there was a guy with a near stock r reg highline iirc he ran 15.0 bloody good time that

    what psi are you running? is it properly mapped?

    in the kit i got there were 3 nozzles (0.5 0.6 and 0.7 mm iirc) have you adjusted the pressure switch to come on too early? im running 11 psi the switch is set for 4psi and it comes on around 3200 (havnt really looked properly darnt take eyes off the road for that long lol)

    if u use 2 to lower the compression will the stock head bolts be long enough with a suprcharger??

    hehe i did it tonight i cant tell if its louder as the cars pretty loud out the back bonnet only got mildly warm in about 15 miles mainly tootling with the odd spurt charger and mani seem to be a bit cooler but too early to tell yet
